The feudal society in the Nelakondapalli village of khammam district is under the clutches of Dorasani (Shwetha Menon) and his aristocratic family. Mallamma (Baby Annie) is the darling of the village who has been brought up by Sambayya. She develops affinity to a basil tree that is considered holy by the village.

The movie is about two sons of an idealistic school teacher who turn into ruffians. One of the brothers runs away from home and becomes an underworld don, while the other turns into a local mafia of sorts. But when they meet year later, the story takes on a strange turn.

Before his sister's wedding a woman runs away with their money, to save the wedding Pandi borrows money from a private lender and hands it over to his father. To pay back the loan, Pandi goes abroad to work harder. But when he returns he leans about his mother's death which turns out to be be planned and therefore he decides to avenge her killers.
