Aami Ashbo Phirey is a musical that is about four different stories that are all connected by a violent incident. A young, unknown and unheard singer and songwriter accidentally enters the stories through virtual media and changes their lives for the better. The film re-asserts that art can surpass all differences, violence, intolerance and give them a chance to redeem oneself.

Byomkesh O Agniban is a sequel to Anjan Dutta`s Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana. The sixth movie in the series sees Sharadundu Bandopadhyay`s literary detective, Byomkesh Bakshi tackle a foe from his past.

A compassionate housewife who catches a young woman stealing in her house, gives her a second chance to redeem herself and live a respectable life. But, will the young thief start her life anew or will her past catchup with her?

After his Benaras sojourn, Byomkesh Bakshi is back in action with a new riveting case. Santagola has become a hub of illegal weapons trade and Bengal Government requests sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi to investigate the case. On arrival, Byomkesh, his wife Satyabati and his friend Ajit are welcomed at the state guest house. As soon as Byomkesh Bakshi starts his investigation, he zeroes in on few well-known people of this city, who could be possible suspects. However, he realizes that these men are way too powerful and he will never be able to search their warehouses and mills. In the meantime, a demented man named Amrito claims that he has seen a demonic horse-riding figure roaming around the jungle. Amrito is sent to the jungle to observe this phenomenon. Next morning, his bullet ridden dead body is found inside the jungle. As Byomkesh delves deep into the case, a lot of well-respected men will be unmasked as he uncovers the dark mystery of Santagola.

Aniket is one of the finest Bengali filmmakers, devoted to making the best films. His wife, Deepti was an actress who gave up her career when she met and fell in love with him, choosing instead to raise their son, Apratim. Along comes Shikha, a pretty young starling, who resembles Deepti in her younger days. Shikha is selected to work in Aniket's new film and Deepti coaches her for the same.
