An ex-minister is trying to get back his laptop from an auditor, who is blackmailing him from Kasi for Rs. 10 crores. It contains data regarding the minister's wealth from corrupt sources. Then there are the three young men, the three young women and a plethora of other characters with their own problems, who get involved in the ongoing madness.

Aranmanai is about a family that wants to sell their ancestral home. The supernatural elements they discover there in the aranmanai (palace) lead to some bone-chilling moments. The film has an impressive list of around 28 actors!

Inspired by the Thai horror film, `Alone`, the film centers around two conjoint twin sisters. The film is essentially a revenge drama interwoven with a love story and other jolts. According to the film`s leading actress, Priyamani who essays a double role in the film, one twin is innocent while the other is a tomboy.

The story begins on a rainy night, when Ilangkumaran (Sasikumar) and Nallavan (Allari Naresh) escape from a place and reach Chennai. They settle at Pulikutty`s (Ganja Karuppu) residence and find a job. Kumaran`s honesty and kind heartedness wins people. A girl named Bharathi (Swathi) comes into his life. Her initial wrong belief about Kumaran changes as soon as she knows his kind-heartedness. Meanwhile, Ilangkumaran along with his friends starts a venture which grows fast. But the second half changes the course of events as Kumaran`s old life is shown.

When Dilip (Chiranjeevi) returns to India, his father Janardhan wants him to take over the business. Dilip meeta Rekha and the two fall in love. Soon he realizes the illegal; business his father is upto under the name of the factory. To revolt against his father, he joins the factory as a laborer and becomes the Union Minister.

Aadu Puli is a racy game that is hugely popular in the rural parts of Tamil Nadu. The film is about how things change suddenly in a happy family. Except the hero, no one knows who is the villain is. A game is now on between the two and unravels as the protagonist sets things right in his own way.

A story of a man who chooses wrongdoings but prefers to do it only if it is justified and confined within his set of principles but a chain of events tend to shake his ethics. Whether he falls prey for the ethically frail and morally corrupt system of the country forms the rest of the story.
