A young, unknown and unheard singer and songwriter accidentally enters the stories through virtual media and changes their lives for the better. The film re-asserts that art can surpass all differences, violence, intolerance and give them a chance to redeem oneself.

Jaatishwar is the story of Rohit, a Gujarati born and brought up in Bengal, who falls in love with a woman who is Bengali with a vengeance. Naturally, she rejects his proposal and challenges him to write, compose and sing a perfect Bengali song for her. After this, their paths diverge. Mahamaya becomes a RJ who works for a radio station which eventually is entrusted the responsibility of organizing a rock concert involving bands from India and Bangladesh. Rohit meanwhile goes to Portugal to study Colonial history, and decides to do it on Heynesman Antony, a Portuguese who was born in 19th Century Bengal and went onto become of the leading minstrels of that time. In his fieldwork, he meets a mysterious man, Kushawl Hajra in Chandannagore, who claims to be Antony`s reincarnation. Rohit starts recording his narrative of his past life as Antony for his dissertation. From here we see a journey of two men separated by one and a half century - both learning an alien language and going on to write songs in that overcoming all odds. How Rohit woos Mahamaya with the perfect Bengali song, and how Kushawl deals with his psychological disorder forms the rest of the story.

`Ami Ar Amar Girlfriends` (Me and My Girlfriends) is a chick flick abut three girlfriends bonding. This `chick flick` has been directed by Mainak Bhaumik whose previous films, `Bedroom` and `Aamra` have featured strong female protagonists. In `Ami Aar Amar Girlfriends`, one of the characters is married, the second one is in the process of getting back with an her boyfriend back and the third one is a singleton looking for love.

Ritu has always been compared to her mother, this has done nothing but increased her insecurities. Consequently Ritu doesn`t trust her mother and always suspects her, this gets further amplified when she falls in love with Sunny in college and her mother tries to find about him. This doesn`t go well with Ritu who resents her mother`s interference and misunderstands her intentions.

"Janala" tells the story of Bimal, who decides to give a little back to his old school despite having very little money. As a child Bimal had a favourite corner classroom where he used to sit and daydream out of a broken window, and so when he finds himself back in his old school he feels compelled to replace the window. He uses his fiancee Meera's savings--money she put aside for their expected child--without telling her. The relationships of four people whose intersecting stories provide a glimpse into the lives, loves, and heartbreaks of modern-day urban life. The film explores the relationship of four couples. Raima (Swastika Mukherjee), married to Pratik (Amitabha Bhattacharya), has reached a critical phase in her marriage because he, an alcoholic, tortures her with physical and mental violence. Pratik is a BPO manager and though Raima tries to hold on because of their daughter, her patience has almost reached its limit. Partha (Sudip Mukherjee), branch manager in an insurance firm, is married to Sheila (Sreelekha Mitra). While Partha places his corporate team under constant stress by reason of his ruthless ambitions, Sheila fails to cope with the reality of her inability to conceive. Anjali (Maitreyee Mitra), a BPO Team Leader working under Pratik, is about to marry Rahul (Indrajeet), an IT professional. Rahul's ambition is to reach the US for better prospects. His sudden decision to switch over to a job in Bangalore pushes the relationship to a crisis, driving the engagement to breaking point. Animesh (Rudranil Ghosh), an insurance executive in a private firm, always fails to reach his sales target. He fails to meet the rising financial demands his wife Geeta (Samapika Debnath) and son Nayan place on him. Ringo's directional debut "Kranti" marks the beginning of a new era of Bengali action films. In the credits the director says that John Woo and Ram Gopal inspired him to make this film and he tried to make this film on the theme of Shiva. It is the story of student Jeet, who arrives in the city with his parents and sister after changing residences. Their struggle for existence begins from that very moment. Everyone is terrified of Vishnu (Ashish Vidyarthi), the local don, and it turns out that Deva (Rishi Kaushik), the Don's younger brother, studies in the same college as Jeet. Deva is the biggest troublemaker in the college along with his gang, and nothing stops them from creating trouble, including teasing and passing coarse comments at girls. Jeet tries to take control of the situation, meaning that he clashes with Deva on many occasions and beats up a few of his key associates. In retaliation Vishnu's men cause havoc by raping Jeet's elder sister Debosree (Locket Chatterjee) , killing his close friend from college Iqbal (Biswanath Basu), and finally killing his father (Bodhisatwa Majumdar) . All these incidents have a tremendous impact on Jeet, who decides to kill Vishnu at any cost. He achieves success at the end of the film when he kills Deva, then finishes off Vishnu and takes his revenge.

Raju is a poor boy whose mother dies of starvation. He is taken under the wing of local smuggler Bhanuptatap. He grows up to become an antisocial associate of the smuggler .
