Vijayalakshmi Ahathian

`Attahasa` is a forthcoming Kannada biopic directed by A. M. R. Ramesh, based on the notorious forest brigand Veerappan. Kishore plays the role of Veerappan in the film which also features Arjun Sarja and Vijayalakshmi in the leading roles. The film has simultaneously been shot in Tamil and is titled `Vanayutham`.

The films open with the marriage of a young couple, Krishna (Krishna) and Krishnavemi (Vijayalaksmi). The couple however, is charged with more than love to their account. Various criminal charges have a group of policemen chasing them, lead by Stanley Deva Sahayam (Kalyan). When the couple gets cornered by the police, Ramanathan (Sampath Raj) comes to their rescue and takes them to a safe location. As luck would have it, Ramanathan turns out to be a local policeman, authorised to catch the two. He interrogates them at a secret location where the story begins to unfold in flashback mode.
