''Vadhyar'' has been directed by Nidheesh Shakthi. The film centres around Anoop Krishnan (Jayasurya) who wants to study Business Administration but lands up with a B.Ed. The film is essentially about what happens when a teacher with minimal interest in teaching begins teaching. Anne Augustine plays the leading actress in the film. The film has been directed by Nidheesh Shakti and produced by N Sudhish under Lakshminath Creations. Rajesh Raghavan has scripted the film and R Gautham has composed the music. Some of the film's other actors include Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Bijukuttan, Harisree Ashokan and Anil Murali.

The story is about Nandagopan (Dileep), a villager who writes the story of his own life and sufferings and wants Sooryakiran (Kalabhavan Mani), who is a south Indian superstar, to make a film based on it. Sooryakiran, who always boasts of coming up the hard way, reads the script later and is so moved by it that he decides to make the movie. Shobhraj though gets to play a positive role for a change while Rangayana Raghu provides the usual quota of entertainment to the front-benchers. And Ramanito finally gets a little more screen time, which she puts to good use.The film is a perfect entertainer.

He is the caretaker and secretary of the Cosmo Club. His father, John, accidentally kills Eappachayan,the father of Sara Eapen who D K is supposed to marry. The story takes a turn when Annie (Mukta) a medical student and Sara`s half sister who is taken cared of by David, is accused by the police for committing the murder of Benny, an upcoming politician and the son of political king and former Revenue Minister M C Paul (Vijayraghavan). Now David must save her and also reveal the political family leadership pattern prevalent in the state.
