Vroom is the story of Smarty, a naughty car with a mind of its own. The story follows a scientist, Dr Ramanujam, who is working on a secret Artificial Intelligence chip which an evil goon, Mr X wishes to acquire. He sends his henchmen to steal the chip, but Dr Ramanujam manages to escape with it and puts it in a car, which has a mind of its own and plays tricks on his new owner and the people around him.

Uttarayan is a highly captivating adaptation of Jaywant Dalvi's Marathi play, "Durgi" . Raghuveer , a widower in his 50s has come to live with his computer engineer son Sanjay . He meets his childhood friend Babu Borkar and during their conversations they reminisce about Kusumavati a.k.a. Durgi , Raghu's first love . Raghu finds out Durgi's address and goes to meet her . Durgi is lonely after her marriage fell apart because her husband was a drunkard and a womanizer . Raghu and Durgi resume their old friendship and slowly a strong bond develops between them . Raghu thinks about asking Durgi whether she wants to marry him . But will Raghu gather enough courage to ask her? Will Durgi accept a proposal at such an old age? And finally , will Raghu's son approve of the marriage?

Raj, a detective, goes on a Europe trip for his friend's case. During the trip, he falls in love with Anjali, who is impersonating her best friend. Their journey together ensues romance and comic confusion. Anjali Khanna had always suspected her husband, Sanjay, of cheating on her, and flirting with other women. In order to keep an eye on him and his activities, she asks her friend, who is also named Anjali Khanna (Rani Mukherji) to go abroad under her name, which she does so. Kedar Kirtikar and his family is away from home in London for 3 months every year.During this period a poor Gopu Kaka (Gopinath) starts living in their house pretending to be the owner.Kashiram whose snack stall gets demolished by Kedar's company and wants compensation.In turn Gopu Kaka offers him a new stall and shelter's him in the house.Kedar's sister Kanan surprisingly visits the house and finds Gopu Kaka and Kashiram but hides her identity.She and Kashiram later fall in love. Abandoned as a baby in a garbage bin by his biological parents; a boy faces the harsh realities of life and years later grows up to be a young man as a paid assassin, blackmailer, kidnapper and a rapist. One of his rape victim is Jyoti; who was deflower while she was getting marry to a doctor. Jyoti then takes up resident with a woman, Savitri, who happens to live right in the same village and across his place of dwelling. Her aspiration is to get him to marry her; all her attempts seems unsuccessful until she decides to fake pregnancy. That is when he decides to take her in; at first they live among ruins without any roof but eventually everything changes with patience and time. Jyoti even provide him with a name Deepak for others to address him. Jyoti and Deepak then get marry and soon are parents to a baby boy. Deepak receives a contract to kill Kaameshwari (Rohini Hattangadi) by Jaikal (Amrish Puri). Deepak refuses to take this contract, and shortly thereafter he is arrested by the police for Kaameshwari's death. On a chilly foggy night two men alight from a train at an isolated railway station, and stay for a night at the Dak Bangla. One of these men is Ajay Sachdev, and the other is Prem Kumar Chopra. Shortly after their arrival, a series of brutal murders shake up the region. The mysteries behind these murders are compounded by the appearance of a white Saree-clad female apparition, which appears and disappears at will. And ghostly cries are heard from a nearby graveyard. The police are involved and their investigation results in the arrest of a suspect, Ajay, who had a motive, and was present during all the deaths, but they have no answers as to the apparition and the cries from the graveyard.
