Ingrid went on to become a novelist while Martha became a war reporter. Separated by the circumstances of life and after years of being out of touch, they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation.

A restaurant manager finds her dull life taking a romantic turn, when an educational program takes her to Italy for a wild adventure.

Casey Davies (Jesse Eisenberg) is an accountant who does not seem to fit in with his work environment. Casey tries to be friendly with other coworkers, but they do not want him as part of their circle, as Casey is accounting and audits all their expense reports. Casey lives aloe in his apartment and only has a dog for company. Casey is assaulted by an unknown people of group on bikes and wearing helmets, returning from the supermarket at night. Casey was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition due to the assault. While given time off from work to recuperate from assault, he grows insecure and strongly considers purchasing a firearm for protection. Casey is even afraid to step out of his own home. Casey visits a gun store and even fills out the paperwork but is told that there is a waiting period for him to legally purchase a gun. The shopkeeper says that in a fight, an armed victim is more likely to be shot than an unarmed victim. But when he comes across a karate Dojo, presided by "Sensei" (Alessandro Nivola), Casey takes advantage of a free trial class, opting to take further day classes rather than purchase a firearm. Casey meets Anna (Imogen Poots), a brown belt (and the only female student of the Dojo) who teaches the children's classes, and befriends Henry, a blue belt student. With time, Casey begins to perform well enough to catch the attention of his classmates and Sensei. He earns a promotion to a yellow belt, but both Anna and Henry (David Zellner) are snubbed for their next ranks. Anna is secretly denied promotion to black belt by Sensei because she is female. As Casey learns the Dojo's strange customs - its unbreakable set of rules and the praising of its powerful grand-master, who is promoted as having developed a technique of punching through an opponent's skull with his index finger - he himself becomes more masculine. The Dojo has a set of rules stuck on the walls that nobody is allowed to break under any circumstances. And after every class, students are to bow to the Sensei and to the photo of the grand-master hung on the wall. Sensei invites Casey to the Dojo's night classes, which are more extreme and brutal than the regular classes. Henry joins the class uninvited, but when he is called upon to help demonstrate, Sensei breaks his elbow at the joint and expels him from the Dojo. During a sparring session, Anna brutally beats Thomas (Steve Terada), the newly promoted black belt student, aiming to prove her skill to Sensei despite her gender, which Sensei claims disqualifies her from earning a black belt. Casey is encouraged by Sensei to listen to heavy metal music (rather than his preferred "adult contemporary") to become more masculine. After a two-month absence from his accounting job, Casey returns as a more assertive employee. His alpha male attitude leads to him impressing his cocky co-workers and throat-punching his boss which gets him fired. He is then offered a temporary position by Sensei to be the Dojo's accountant. Casey reveals to Sensei that he is taking the classes in response to the traumatic experience of being attacked by the motorcycle gang. Days later, Sensei calls Casey telling him that he has spotted one of the gang members at a bar, encouraging him to attack the drunken suspect. Casey gravely injures him, but is surprised to find Sensei recording the confrontation, realizing that the suspect was innocent. A distraught Casey returns home to find his dog unconscious. He is later pronounced dead at the hospital, due to trauma that resembles a punch from a foot - a technique Casey remembered learning during his first lesson. Casey returns to the Dojo and accuses Sensei of killing his dog, which he denies. When Casey challenges Sensei, he says that he recorded the whole incident or Casey hitting an innocent man. Casey has no choice but to obey Sensei. During the evening's session, the entire class goes out to ride motorcycles - which look familiar to Casey - with orders to attack people who are by themselves. As partners, Anna and Casey target a man who soon reveals himself to be undercover police officer. Anna is shot in the leg, but Casey kills the cop to Sensei's approval. Sensei awards Casey a red stripe on his belt to signify his having killed a man. Anna, who also has a red stripe, confides in Casey that she got hers after killing a black belt who tried to sexually assault her. She urges him to leave the Dojo. Casey takes Anna to her home and finds a German Shepherd at his house, given to him by Sensei. Casey returns to the Dojo to investigate further. In a restricted section of the Dojo, Casey finds several disturbing things: A working crematorium, Henry's corpse, hanging by his own blue belt, a hit-list and a series of video tapes which confirm Sensei and some of his own classmates, including Anna and Thomas, as the motorcycle gang that attacked him. Casey also discovers that Anna prevented the gang from executing him during the assault. He also finds that Sensei makes money by extorting former students. When Sensei returns in the morning, Casey challenges him to a fight to the death, as the Dojo's late grand-master is known for. Suited up, the two bow, and Casey pulls out a gun from his GI and shoots Sensei in the head, killing him. At the evening class, Casey tells the other students that he killed Sensei in a duel by punching his index finger through Sensei's skull, having previously dipped his finger into the bullet wound as proof. Casey takes charge of the class and unleashes his new dog on Thomas, whom he discovers was responsible for killing his dachshund after finding a bite mark on his arm. Casey then promotes Anna to a full black belt and she becomes the new Sensei, teaching her beliefs of compassionate combat over ruthless aggression. Casey is then promoted to teaching the children's classes in her stead.

On-call substitute doctor Shugo finds himself faced with a terrifying criminal in a clown mask. The assailant demands that Shugo treat injured high school student Hitomi. The perpetrator sets siege to the building. Shugo Hayami is a doctor at a nursing hospital, which was once a psychiatric hospital. One evening, when Shugo is on night duty, a man in pierrot mask breaks into the hospital and he is not alone. He is with Hitomi Kawasaki, a university student who has been shot by the masked man. The masked man tells Shugo to treat Hitomi. He also takes hostage the 64 people in the hospital. Soon, Shugo and Hitomi try to escape from the hospital and they encounter mysterious cases one at a time. A man in a mask after robbing a store, breaks into a hospital and he brings with him a young woman Hitomi Kawasaki, who has been shot by him. The masked man tells Shugo Hayami to treat Hitomi Kawasaki. Shugo Hayami, a new doctor who recently lost his wife n an unborn child in an accident gets close to Kawasaki after knowing that Kawasaki too lost a loved one. While the masked man takes everyone at the hospital as hostages, Hayami and Kawasaki try to escape from the hospital but they encounter mysterious cases one at a time. —Fella_shibby@yahoo.com

Follow a normal day in the life of three abnormal people to see what it's like to walk in another person's shoes for a day. Shot entirely in subjective camera, the audience will experience a day in the life of these three characters by hearing their internal monologue, dialog, and by seeing what they see as they go about their daily business. Since the movie is all about perception, all three characters lives intertwine in a scene that each character perceives completely different, leaving the audience to decide for themselves what really happened on this normal day. Each characters lives twist and turn as the movie progresses into a fun, yet different, cinematic adventure. —Anonymous

Paleontologist Dr. Grant agrees to give a wealthy couple a tour of Isla Sorna, overrun by dinosaurs, in exchange for research funds, but they turn out to have ulterior motives.

Ben Hildebrand (Mark Harelik) and Eric Kirby (Trevor Morgan) go parasailing over the waters near Isla Sorna, 207 miles west of Costa Rica. The boat's crew disappears, and the top of the boat is destroyed, prompting Ben to detach the line before the boat crashes. He and Eric drift towards the island. Eight weeks later, paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) has made a new discovery about the intelligence of Velociraptors but struggles to secure funding for his research. Grant discusses his discovery of a resonating larynx on fossilized raptor remains with his longtime colleague Ellie (Laura Dern). Ellie is now married with a husband Mark and 2 kids. Mark (Taylor Nichols) works for the state department, specializing in international treaty law. Grant says that the larynx of the raptors was a tremendous evolutionary advantage. This, and his experience at Jurassic Park, leads him to believe that the original Velociraptors were socially sophisticated, and smarter than dolphins, whales and even primates. They were able to hunt in numbers and coordinate their attacks. He hypothesizes that if they had not gone extinct and continued to evolve, their descendants-rather than humans-would have become Earth's dominant species. At a symposium, Grant declares that all John Hammond and Ingen did at Jurassic Park was to create genetically engineered theme park monsters. He says that he has no intention of visiting Isla Sorna. His assistant Billy Brennan (Alessandro Nivola) uses a 3D printer to replicate the Velociraptor larynx. Grant laments that he would have to wrap up his field research in 4 weeks if additional funding is not approved. Paul (William H. Macy) and Amanda Kirby (Téa Leoni), posing as a wealthy couple, offer funding for Grant's research if he will give them an aerial tour of Isla Sorna, claiming they have permission to fly over the island. The Kirbys say that they are adventurers and have been to the Nile, the K2 and the Galapagos. They even claim to have 2 seats on the first commercial flight to the moon. Paul offers a big check to Grant to help him to agree. Grant reluctantly agrees and flies there with Paul, Amanda, Billy, and the Kirbys' mercenary associates Udesky (Michael Jeter), Cooper (John Diehl), and their pilot Nash (Bruce A. Young). During the flight, Grant learns that the Kirbys plan to land on the island; he protests but Cooper knocks him unconscious. Grant awakens to discover that they have landed. Grant is adamant that the island is not safe, even as Amanda calls out for Eric using a loudspeaker. A Spinosaurus approaches the group, who board the plane to escape, leaving Cooper behind as he tries to reach the plane. The Spinosaurus emerges on the runway and devours Cooper. In avoiding the Spinosaurus, the plane clips the dinosaur and crashes into the forest. The Spinosaurus destroys the plane and consumes Nash, who had possession of Paul's satellite phone. Fleeing, the survivors briefly lose the Spinosaurus but encounter a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Spinosaurus returns and the group escapes while the two dinosaurs engage in a battle, with the Spinosaurus killing the Tyrannosaurus. Grant furiously confronts the Kirbys, and learns that the Kirbys are a middle-class, divorced couple who are looking for their son Eric and Amanda's boyfriend Ben, who went missing on the island. Government agencies declined to help the Kirbys, so they brought Grant along as an expert because of his past experience at Jurassic Park. To their dismay however, Grant explains his previous visit was to Isla Nublar, not Isla Sorna, and as such is just as lost as they are. The group searches for Eric and Ben as they travel to the coast. They find Ben's corpse attached to the para-sail, which Billy takes. They also stumble upon Velociraptor nests, and Billy secretly steals two eggs in his bag. The group find an abandoned InGen compound. A raptor chases them and summons the rest of its pack. The humans flee into a herd of Corythosaurus and Parasaurolophus, causing a stampede, and separating Grant and Udesky from the others. The raptors attack Udesky in an attempt to lure the others out of a tree and almost succeed in attacking Amanda when she tries to descend to help him. The raptors' trap fails, and they kill Udesky before departing. Elsewhere, Grant observes the pack communicating and suspects that they are searching for something; as he tries to slip away, they ambush him. Eric appears, dispersing the attack with tear gas, before taking Grant to an overturned supply truck where he has been taking shelter. The next day, Grant and Eric are reunited with Billy and the Kirbys. The group is then chased by the Spinosaurus but manage to lock it out by entering an abandoned observatory. Grant finds the Velociraptor eggs in Billy's bag, which provoked the earlier attacks. Billy hoped to sell the eggs to fund their dig site. Grant disapproves of this idea, but keeps the eggs regardless, hoping the Velociraptors may spare the group if they are returned. The group unknowingly enters a large aviary used to house Pteranodons, which attack the group and fly away with Eric. Billy rescues Eric using Ben's para-sail but is then attacked and seemingly killed by the Pteranodons. The rest of the group escapes the aviary, unknowingly leaving the door unlocked. They find a boat and make their way down a river. That night, the group retrieves the ringing satellite phone from the feces of the Spinosaurus. Grant contacts Ellie and tells her where they are but the Spinosaurus attacks the boat. Grant ignites the boat's fuel, causing the Spinosaurus to flee. The next morning, the group makes its way towards the coast but are surrounded by the raptors. They surrender the eggs to the raptors while Grant uses the replica raptor larynx to confuse the pack, which runs off with the eggs. The group reach the coast and see that Ellie had called in the Marine Corps and the Navy to rescue them. They discover that Billy, while seriously injured, has also been rescued. As they leave the island, they see the Pteranodons fly by.

Clever, studious, and a writer with an ironic imagination and fine moral compass, she becomes especially close to Edmund, Thomas's younger son. Fanny is soon possessed of beauty as well as a keen mind and comes to the attention of a neighbor, Henry Crawford. Thomas promotes this match, but to his displeasure, Fanny has a mind of her own, asking Henry to prove himself worthy.
