Kate Sullivan (Anna Faris) is a single, working-class mother of three who's hired to clean a luxury yacht that belongs to Leonardo Montenegro (Eugenio Derbez) a selfish, spoiled, and wealthy Mexican playboy. Kate is working 2 jobs (her 2nd job is as a Pizza delivery person at a local restaurant) and has 3 daughters (Emily (Hannah Nordberg), Olivia (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Molly (Payton Lepinski)). She is studying to become a nurse and works her ass off to make ends meet for her family. She is alone and she lost her husband and has asked her mother Grace (Swoosie Kurtz) to come stay with her to look after her kid. Grace also tells Kate that she landed an acting gig in theatre and would be leaving in a day. Kate's nursing exam is less than a month away. Meanwhile, in Mexico, Leo's younger sisters Magdalena (Cecilia Suarez) and Sofia (Mariana Trevin) are tending to their ailing father Mr Montenegro (Fernando Lujan), who announces Leo as his successor to run their company. Montenegro owns the largest building supplies company in the whole world. Their father is on the deathbed, but loves Leo, even though he is a worthless playboy. Sofia is much more disciplined, but is always left on the sidelines, due to their father's bias. Magdalena is elder to Sofia. Montenegro sends Magdalena to bring Leonardo back to Mexico City despite her objections. Sofia runs the charitable division of the company and Magdalena mocks her too. Leonardo unjustly fires Kate. He asks her to bring some snacks right after he fires his chef on the spot, and she refuses as she was running late to pick up her girls from school. When Kate calls out his behavior, he pushes her off the boat with the cleaning equipment. Colin (John Hannah) is Leonardo's assistant. Due to Leonardo's stunt, Kate owes $3000 to the cleaning company for the damaged equipment. Magdalena finds Leonardo on his yacht and orders him back home. Leonardo prefers to travel on his boat rather than on a plane. That very night, Leonardo falls off the boat and wakes up with no memory of who he is. He washes on a beach and is admitted to a hospital. The authorities call Magdalena to take his possession. A doctor tells her that if no next of kin if found, amnesia patients are sent to a psych center, from which they seldom return. Magdalena leaves him there unclaimed after learning of his amnesia. Magdalena refuses to identify Leo as her brother & declares him dead to her lawyers. She returns home with an urn filled with ashes from a campsite grill and falsely reports Leo was killed by a shark, as she intends to take over the family company herself. The doctors and the police are clueless as to who Leo is & treat him like a homeless person. Kate spots Leo's news on the internet. Theresa (Eva Longoria) (Kate's only friend in the world) advises her to take advantage of the situation. To get payback (and the money that Leo owes her for the cleaning services and the $3000 damage to the cleaning equipment), Kate shows up at the hospital and convinces the confused amnesiac that they're married. Theresa gets her husband to make false documents for Leo to certify his new identity. Leo is convinced of the ruse when Kate correctly identifies a tattoo of Speedy Gonzales on his rear, a detail she had seen on the yacht. Kate takes Leo home and her 3 kids go along with the charade as they need a babysitter who watches them till Kate passes the nursing exam. Kate tells Leo that their kids were conceived by a sperm donor, as Leo is sterile. Kate makes up details about their alleged life together. She sets him up with an exhausting construction job for Theresa's husband Bobby (Mel Rodriguez). Leo eventually bonds with the girls. Kate begins to feel guilty and considers telling him the truth but changes her mind after seeing how much the girls enjoy having him around. Instead, they spend the evening celebrating Kate's new revelation: it's their anniversary. The next day, Leo discovers condoms. Assuming the worst, he confronts her, and Theresa takes the blame, stating she was having an affair. Leo and Kate decide to renew their vows. Meanwhile, Leo's family is having a memorial service for him when a photo of him at the beach turns up. Realizing Magdalena lied, Mr. Montenegro goes to find Leo. When he reaches Kate's, Leo's memory returns upon seeing him and he realizes what happened. Hurt and angry, Leo returns to his yacht. The girls tearfully run after him and plead for him to stay but are unsuccessful. Kate decides to go after Leo, and she and the girls rush to the pizza place to borrow Bobby's boat to chase after the yacht. Meanwhile, Leo has become aware of how selfish and pretentious his life was before meeting Kate and the girls. He realizes he wants to be with them and has the captain turn the boat around. Mr. Montenegro attempts to stop him, but Leo jumps into the water. Kate does the same as they swim to each other and share a kiss. Leo dismisses threats from his father, who in the process decides to name Sofia as his new successor as he is furious at both Leo (for choosing to be with Kate) and Magdalena (for lying to him). Leo returns to a life with Kate and the girls. Leo's former employee Colin arrives to offer his service as a nanny. After telling him they can't afford him, he mentions that Sofia sent him to remind Leo that he still legally owns the yacht, worth $60 million. Kate and Leo marry aboard it. Friends and family toast the newlyweds during the end credits. In the meantime, Magdalena tries to get herself back in good graces by claiming to have started an education initiative for children in the Philippines, though none of the children like her.

Along the way, Gene finds the code he needs but he also learns being different from everyone else makes him special. In the end, Gene decides not to change to fit in, but to express all his feelings without reservations and be true to himself.

"Just Another Saturday Night" Marv (Mickey Rourke) regains consciousness on a highway overlooking the Projects, surrounded by several dead young men and a crashed police car and with no memory of how he got there. He retraces his steps, recalling since it's Saturday, he watched Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba) dance at Kadie's Saloon. Stepping outside, he encounters four rich frat boys burning a homeless man alive. When Marv intervenes, the leader of the frat boys shoots him in the arm, calling him "Bernini Boy", which Marv mishears as "Bernie". They flee, and Marv follows, stealing a Police car on the way, which he crashes into their car, leading to his blackout and memory loss. He follows the two surviving frat boys into The Projects, the neighborhood where he grew up, and with the assistance of the deadly residents lurking in the shadows, he dispatches the frat boys. He questions the leader about being called "Bernini boy" and learns that it is the brand of coat he is wearing. After slitting the boy's throat, he considers his coat, and realizes he can't remember how he acquired it. "The Long Bad Night (Part I)" Johnny (Joseph Gordon Levitt), a cocky young gambler, arrives in Sin City and heads to Kadie's place, where he immediately hits the jackpot on multiple slot machines. Taking a young waitress, Marcie (Julia Garner) with him as a good luck charm, he buys into the backroom poker game led by the all-powerful Senator Roark (Powers Boothe). Johnny repeatedly wins in the high-stakes game, and cleans the senator out. One other player, the corrupt police lieutenant Liebowitz (Jude Ciccolella), warns him to flee the city, but instead Johnny takes Marcie out for a night on the town. He walks her home when Roark's goons suddenly attack him. He fights them off and tells Marcie to meet him at a hotel before he is escorted into the Senator's waiting limousine. In payment for the humiliation, he suffered at the card game, Roark takes back his money and uses a pair of pliers to break three of Johnny's fingers. They toss him from the car and the Senator shoots Johnny in the leg. Roark then reveals that he recognized Johnny as his illegitimate son. However, he remarks that he only considered his dead son Roark Jr. his flesh and blood. He leaves Johnny alive, preferring to let him suffer, and Johnny swears revenge. "A Dame to Kill For" Years before "The Big Fat Kill", Dwight McCarthy (Josh Brolin) attempts to put his violent past behind him, working as a private detective and leading a life of complete sobriety, struggling daily to refuse his inner demons. After saving the life of a young hooker (Juno Temple) who is nearly murdered by her businessman lover (Ray Liotta) he receives an unexpected phone call from his former lover Ava Lord (Eva Green), who left Dwight four years prior for a wealthy tycoon, Damian Lord (Marton Csokas). She begs him to meet her at Kadie's saloon, and despite his embittered feelings, he agrees. When Ava arrives, she begs forgiveness for leaving him, and implies she is afraid for her life before her massive chauffeur, Manute (Dennis Haysbert) arrives to escort her home. Unable to get her out of his mind, Dwight sneaks into Damian Lord's estate, where he observes Ava swimming, but is caught and beaten for his trouble. Dwight is returned home, where a nude Ava waits for him. He tries to throw her out but can't resist her and they make love. She tells him that Damian and Manute torture her physically and mentally, and she knows Damian will kill her soon. Manute arrives and viciously beats a naked Dwight, tossing him out a window. Determined to rescue Ava, Dwight recruits Marv to help him, and they mount an assault on Lord's compound. Marv attacks Manute, putting him in traction and tearing out his eye. Dwight confronts Damian Lord, who denies Ava's accusations, and an enraged Dwight beats him to death. As he reacts in horror, Ava appears and shoots Dwight several times, taunting him and thanking him for helping her murder her husband and take over his business. She shoots him in the face and forces him to fall out of a window, where Marv rescues him and takes him to Old Town. Dwight's old flame, Gail (Rosario Dawson) a prostitute in Old Town, recognizes him and saves his life. With the help of Gail and the deadly assassin Miho (Jamie Chung), Dwight undergoes reconstructive surgery on his face and plots his revenge. Meanwhile, two detectives, Mort (Christopher Meloni) and Bob (Jeremy Piven) investigate Damian's death. Ava claims Dwight was an obsessive ex-lover, and he killed her husband in a jealous rage. Bob is skeptical but Ava seduces Mort, who believes her every word. They begin an affair and Ava pressures him to find and kill Dwight. When Mort, obsessed with Ava, attempts to track Dwight down in Old Town (an action that would break the truce between the police and the prostitutes), Bob attempts to stop him. An enraged Mort shoots Bob in the head, then turns the gun on himself and dies on the roadside. Out of options, Ava reluctantly partners with the mob boss Wallenquist (Stacey Keach), offering him her body, in exchange for an attack on Dwight in Old Town, Wallenquist orders his assassin to come in from Texas. Dwight (with his reconstructed new face), accompanied by Gail and Miho, poses as Wallenquist's man from Texas. Inside Ava's estate, however, Manute sees past the new face and captures Dwight. Gail and Miho strike from Dwight's car, and Dwight shoots Manute with a hidden .25 he had up his left sleeve. Six bullets fail to kill him, and Manute aims shakily at Dwight as Ava unexpectedly grabs one of Manute's guns, shooting Manute several times. She attempts to convince Dwight to pair with her, and that the pain he suffered revealed his true intentions, but Dwight shoots her mid-kiss, and she dies in his arms. "The Long Bad Night (Part II)" Johnny visits an unlicensed doctor, Kroenig (Christopher Lloyd) who shoots up heroin before trading his services for Johnny's last forty dollars and his shoes. Realizing he left Marcie unprotected, Johnny flees to her hotel, but finds the Senator waiting for him along with Marcie's dismembered head and hands. Again, the senator lets him go. Intent on taking down Roark, Johnny scrounges a dollar from a sympathetic waitress (Lady Gaga) which he uses to regain enough money playing slots to buy his way into Roark's game the following night. Playing a card shark's con, Johnny folds his first few hands, allowing Roark to taunt him about his dead mother. He once again cons Roark into going all in, and then reveals his winning hand. Johnny taunts his father, reminding him that tonight's story of how the same man beat him twice will follow him for the rest of his life. His vengeance completed, Johnny smiles resignedly as Roark dismissively shoots him in the head, commanding his men to get rid of the body. "Nancy's Last Dance" Set four years after "That Yellow Bastard", Nancy Callahan struggles to cope with John Hartigan's selfless suicide. Drinking heavily, she is obsessed with vengeance on Senator Roark, for having driven Hartigan to kill himself. As she wallows in despair, the ghost of Hartigan (Bruce Willis) watches over her, unable to reach her but still attempting to help. On the same night that Johnny joins the backroom poker game, Nancy attempts to shoot Roark from the stage of Kadie's, but finds herself unable to pull the trigger, possibly due to Hartigan's ghostly influence. Nancy hallucinates a visit from Roark, and shortly thereafter cuts her hair and smashes a mirror, using its shards to cut her face. She decides to get Marv to help her kill Roark by showing him the scars and making him believe Roark was responsible. As they step out of the club, they meet a motorcycle gang there to shoot up the place. Marv kills two but leaves their leader for Nancy to finish off. The pair mount an assault on Roark's compound, and Marv slaughters Roark's bodyguards while Nancy picks off the guards with a crossbow. Marv is wounded, and Nancy continues on to confront Roark by herself. Roark shoots her several times and is about to finish her off when Hartigan's ghost suddenly flashes in the mirror to distract him, which gives Nancy enough time to recover and kill him.

The House Bunny is a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Fred Wolf, starring Anna Faris as a former Playboy bunny who signs up to be the ``house mother`` of an unpopular university sorority, Zeta Alpha Zeta house, after being conned by a rival, Phi Iota Mu sorority, into believing she is now too old by Playboy standards.

Young employees at Shenaniganz restaurant collectively stave off boredom and adulthood with their antics. The movie chronicles the first day of an employee who witnesses first-hand the various things the waiters, cooks and others did at a restaurant to pass the time. Dean (Justin Long) has been a waiter for four years since graduating from high school and hasn't earned a degree during his four years at a community college. When Dean learns from his mother (Monica) that a former high school classmate, Chett (Travis Resor), now has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he begins to rethink his direction-less life. Dean's lecherous friend and co-worker, Monty (Ryan Reynolds), is in exactly the same situation, but has accepted that his future lies with the restaurant, Shenaniganz. Monty is put in charge of training Mitch (John Francis Daley), a newly hired waiter who is constantly interrupted. Also working with Dean is Calvin (Robert Patrick Benedict), a hopeless romantic who cannot hang onto a relationship, and Dan (David Koechner), the uptight manager who is grooming Dean as his protege. Rounding out the staff are 17-year old hostess Natasha (Vanessa Lengies), abrasive waitress Naomi (Alanna Ubach), waitress (and Monty's ex-girlfriend) Serena (Anna Faris), Dean's girlfriend and fellow waitress Amy (Kaitlin Doubleday), stoner bus-boys T-Dog (Max Kasch) and Nick (Andy Milonakis), head chef Raddamus (Luis Guzman), the insane, unsanitary chef Floyd (Dane Cook), bartender Tyla (Emmanuelle Chriqui), and the pensive and philosophical dishwasher Bishop (Chi McBride). The cooler of the restaurant is the favorite spot for the workers to smoke pot. Natasha has a monster crush on Monty, but she admits that she is a minor and is going to turn 18 in another week. Monty tells Mitch that everything that Dan wants him to learn can be done in a few hours, but to really survive at Shenaniganz, Mitch has to be comfortable with male frontal nudity. Monty lives with his mother (Wendie Malick) who berates him for his life choices. She indicates that Monty is not responsible enough to ever have kids, and that she regrets having Monty as her kid in the first place. The waiters preoccupy themselves with endless gossip, complaining about the customers, seeking covert revenge on particularly rude patrons, and playing a special kind of game called the "Penis Showing Game" where the male staff deliberately expose their genitalia to their unsuspecting coworkers, as well as the ways the staff deal with rude customers. The objective of the game is to get the coworkers to sneak a peek at the genitalia, at which point one can ridicule them for being gay. Raddamus takes Mitch under his wings and teaches him the strategies involved in the game. Raddamus says that the more unsuspecting the strategy, the more kicks one gets to hit the other person on their behind. In one instance, food is sent back by a really unpleasant female customer who insults Amy for not even understanding simple instructions clearly. She wanted the steak medium rare, and extra gravy on the mashed potatoes. The kitchen staff then gladly contaminate with saliva, dandruff, pubic hair, and other unsavory bits. Monty comments that Mitch doesn't speak much, but when he starts to speak, Monty again interrupts and shuts him down. Their manager, Dan, offers Dean the chance to compete with Calvin for the position of Assistant Manager. Dean says that he needs time to think and decide his life's priorities. Naomi overhears the conversation and informs the rest of the staff that Dean might become their boss if he takes up the role of the Assistant Manager. When the staff confronts Dean about his meeting with Dan, Dean feigns ignorance and says nothing, further fueling their suspicions. Dead talks to Monty and admits that he is thinking about his career due to Chet graduating college. An altercation with a customer who left a poor tip to Dean results in Dan demanding an answer by the end of the day. The customer left Dean a $1 tip on a bill of $90. Dean made it a point to return the $1 to the customer. The customer makes a ruckus in the restaurant and Dan has to give away a lot of free stuff to placate the customer. Each employee has his or her own problems and stories, which are interwoven with the ebb and flow of business. Floyd cannot go to the rest room to urinate as one time when he was there, he saw another person in the next stall staring right at his penis. As a result, Floyd got very conscious and now could not even go to urinate in the booth. Bishop tries to counsel Floyd but they are both distracted when Floyd pranks Raddamus in the Penis game. As the day winds down, Dean is left on his own during the final hour of business. Two new guests arrive, one of whom Dean quickly realizes is Chet, his successful schoolmate. Initially annoyed, Dean is humbled by Chet when he leaves Dean $100 for his $30 meal. Chet reiterates, 'You look like you need it more than me,' which Dean had retorted to the earlier customer. Dean is called to Dan's office to decide on the promotion, but Dean turns it down and quits his job to return to college for a more promising future. When the shift ends, the staff head to a party at Monty and Dean's house. At the party, Monty is able to resist having sex with Natasha although he says they will have sex the following Wednesday, when she will be 18. Calvin attempts to fix his relationship problems, and Mitch, who had been unable to speak all day, mainly due to Monty's interruptions, finally rants about the entire staff and quits. He concludes by giving them all The GOAT from the "Penis Showing Game," for which Monty declares him a god and swears his undying allegiance to him. The film ends with the staff talking about the incident with Mitch, Dan showing up at a disgruntled customers' house after Natasha gave him the wrong address to the party, and the hip hop music video debut of Nick and T-Dog.

Although almost 20 years separate them, a powerful emotional chord is struck between them and inspires them to awaken from their spiritual malaise.

May (Angela Bettis) is an awkward, lonely young woman who had a troubled childhood due to her "lazy eye" which caused her to feel abnormal and out of place. As a little girl, May's mother takes her to an eye doctor, who suggests that May wear an eye patch to correct her vision. Unfortunately, this only encourages the other children to look oddly at her, most notably on their first day of school, when one of her fellow students asks her if she is a pirate. She has few long social interactions with people throughout her life with her only "true friend" being a glass-encased doll named Suzy made by her mother and given to May for her birthday. After presenting her with the gift, her mother tells her, "If you can't find a friend, make one." As an adult, May works at a Veterinary Hospital assisting with surgeries in a lower-class section of Los Angeles, California. May's optometrist fixes her lazy eye, first with eye glasses, then with a special form of contact lens. As May attempts to interact with the people around her, she sees Adam (Jeremy Sisto), a local mechanic, around town and begins to follow him. She times her visits to the local laundromat and her lunch breaks with his in order to meet up with him so she can watch him. The seemingly perfect guy, Adam gets to know May when she finally manages to get the courage to walk up and introduce herself to him, and when she tells him that she's weird, he replies, "That's okay. I like weird". May has a fixation on his hands, which she considers to be the most attractive part of him, and Adam seems to find her attractive as well. They start dating and Adam teaches May to smoke cigarettes, teasing her when he realizes she has never smoked before. He gives her his pack of his cigarettes and tells her to 'practice'. Meanwhile, May's lesbian colleague Polly (Anna Faris) who works as the receptionist at the vet clinic, begins to show an attraction to May, while at the same time poking fun at her for her oddness. One day while May is feeling especially low, she makes a random remark that Polly has a beautiful neck. Polly then gives her pet cat Loopy to May, ostensibly because of her "bitch" landlord's new rules not to have pets around. One day, Adam shows her a film he made for his university titled 'Jack and Jill'. The black-and-white silent film reveals a story of two young lovers who go on a picnic and end up eating each other. May becomes clearly aroused by the blatant cannibalism in the film and, during what started as an intense session of making out, gets carried away and bites Adam on the lip, causing him to bleed profusely. When Adam reacts in pain and asks her for a towel, May seems to like seeing his blood on her, saying it's like his movie and doesn't recognize how alarmed he is. Adam is finally disturbed by May's strange personality and leaves. May feels guilty and blames her doll Suzy (who frightened Adam upon viewing her) for encouraging her to make bad choices. She shouts at her and shoves her in the cupboard. After Adam stops calling her (weirded out because she drew blood while they were kissing), May goes to his house and accidentally overhears him and a friend calling her a lunatic and saying he's glad he could get rid of her. Heartbroken, May goes home and gets a message from Polly inviting her over. At about this time, May finally gives in to Polly's wiles and starts a romantic affair with her. Another day later, May inquires about working at a school for disabled children, specifically for looking after the blind children she saw playing in the park near her workplace. She is especially interested in a lonely girl named Petey, who she feels she can identify with. The little girl also likes May so she gives her an ashtray made of clay with May's name carved into the center of it. Later that night, May is at the laundromat and cheerfully greets Adam who comes in unexpectedly, telling him she's making new friends and showing him Polly's kitty Loopy, who she brought in her laundry basket. Adam is polite but subdued, and tells her his machine is broken and he'll have to go to another laundromat. After he leaves, saying he'll see her around, May goes over to his "broken" machine and tries it, realizing after it works fine that he just didn't want to talk to her. The following day, May goes to see Polly, only to find that she's with another girl. Polly makes it clear she's still interested in May, but apparently wants to see other girls too. Returning home after trying to conceal her hurt, May's totally miserable and when Loopy refuses to come near her, she becomes enraged and throws the clay ashtray at the cat, striking her on the head and killing her. Over time, May further isolates herself in her apartment becoming more and more delusional, thinking that her doll Suzy is talking to her through a series of crackles from her glass case (shades of 'Repulsion'). Soon, May tries to phone Adam, and he says he can't see her that night and tells her not to wait when she offers to. During the conversation, Suzy's case is shown cracking and May acts like she can hear Suzy interrupting her phone conversation. May thinks that this somehow signifies that Suzy is jealous of Adam and does not want May to be near him. By the next day, she forgives Suzy and decides that she's probably her only real friend. Later, May goes to the school for blind kids and shows them Suzy, telling them that that is her best friend. The children cannot see it, so they want to touch it. May tries to keep the doll away (as Suzy is delicate) and struggles with the kids until the doll falls and the glass case shatters into pieces all around the floor. The children begin to crawl about looking for the doll, and the glass cuts into their hands and knees. May also gets down on the floor to rescue Suzy, cutting herself in the process. She is covered in not only her blood, but the blood of the children as well. Carrying the now-destroyed, blood-covered Suzy, May returns home. She is devastated at all the things that have happened to her. She even scratches her irritated eyes, and then falls asleep on her couch with the remains of the doll around her. She wakes up to a phone message from Polly, saying she's worried about May because she hasn't shown up at work. When May looks in the mirror, she sees her eyes are bloody and begins wearing her glasses instead of contacts again while they heal. The following day, May is sitting on a bench at a local bus stop when a punk boy named Blank (James Duval) sits besides her and begins talking to her. He becomes interested in her odd remarks about people not being entirely perfect but only having perfect "parts". May doesn't like him at first, but then warms to him when he says he just wants to be friendly and tells him she likes the tattoo he has on his arm. They go to May's apartment and Blank begins flirting with her. When he goes to the freezer to get ice, he finds the cat's corpse wrapped in plastic wrap. Flabbergasted, he begins to panic and calls May a freak, infuriating her; she finally breaks down and stabs him in the head with a pair of scissors, killing him. May is shown afterwards with swipes of Blank's blood on her and is calmly smoking a cigarette while she remembers attacking him. Suddenly, she realizes that the people she had known as her friends were not friends at all; there were only parts of them that she considered 'friends'. She simply comes to the conclusion that a perfect friend can only be made of all the perfect parts of the people she thought were her friends. On Halloween night, May dresses up in a homemade costume similar to Suzy's dress, along with straightening her hair out as well as putting on white facial powder, making her face pasty white, as well as blood-red lipstick. She rents a large ice cooler hooked up to a dolly, and goes out. May first goes over to Polly's house. (Note: while dressed up as 'Suzy', May also adopts a "normal" manner and attitude, very unlike her giddy, stammering, child-like behavior; as 'Suzy', May talks to all people who interact with her in a cold, impassive tone of voice with no hesitation or stuttering.) At Polly's house, May and Polly carry on a normal conversation about work until May pulls out a couple of scalpels that she stole from the animal hospital and puts them in each side of Polly's neck. Polly laughs at her, thinking this is a joke and stating that she knows that May would never hurt her until May suddenly slashes her neck, much to Polly's astonishment before dying. A little later, Ambrosia, Polly's other lover, arrives at the house, irritated at May's presence. May admires her legs and asks her to turn around for her. Ambrosia accepts, but not without calling her a freak and making derisive comments about her and Polly's previous relationship. After this, May stabs her on both sides of her head. Lastly, May goes to Adam's house. When she arrives there, she finds that Adam is with another girl called Hoop (for her hoop earrings) who lets May come in, much to Adam's annoyance. They sit at the table, and May asks Adam to touch her face. Adam refuses, something which leads into a discussion between May and Hoop, who tells her that Adam's hands are hers now. Adam, who's a little hungover and not feeling well, gets impatient with both women and says he wants May to leave, after which she stands and asks him again to touch her face. He indignantly pokes May's forehead, at which point May stabs Hoop in the neck. Adam walks back and screams in horror, but May stabs him in the stomach. Back at home, May starts designing her "new friend", which is basically a Frankenstein-like thing made from her deceased friends whose body parts she keeps in the cooler she's carrying around. She uses Blank's arms, Polly's neck, Adam's hands, Ambrosia's legs, Hoop's earrings (still on her severed ears), and Loopy's fur, to substitute hair. The head and torso are simply different scraps of fabric stitched together and stuffed, while the other appendages are finally sewn together. May then changes out of her Suzy costume, washes herself off, and reverts back to her old child-like personality. Once the macabre "body", named Amy - taken from the letters in May's name, which was written on the now-destroyed ashtray - is finished, she realizes that Amy can't actually see her. So, in a rush of misery, she stabs her right eye (the lazy one) with the scissors. Crying in pain, she puts it on the head of Amy and sobbingly begs for the thing to look at her. Exasperated and in pain, May leans her head against Amy's shoulder. In her pain and psychological meltdown, May sees her friend suddenly come to life and touch her face lovingly, with Adam's treasured hands. May smiles.
