Upon arrival he meets with an old friend, Madanlal, who subsequently tells him that Bhawani is a big businessman. Shiva goes to Bhawani, who now lives in a palatial house, and who welcomes Shiva with open arms. Then one day Shiva finds out that Bhawani is a smuggler who is wanted by the police. Before he could confront his brother, Bhawani is shot and wounded by another gangster, Jagtap, and is hospitalized in serious condition. Shiva decides to take over from Bhawani, but when Bhawani recovers, he is upset and asks Shiva to go home to mom and dad. A humiliated and enraged Shiva refuses to go home and instead joins forces with Jagtap in order to teach Bhawani a lesson. But their boss, Mangal Singh, confronts Dharam, and ends up killing both Dharam and his wife. With the police hot on his tail, Mangal disappears, leaving Veera to bring up Raja with the help of Mehar, their neighbor. Years later, Veera and Raja have grown up with Veera looking after the trucking business, and Raja studying in college. The Police have been unable to even locate Mangal Singh. Veera would like to avenge his foster father's brutal killing, but before he could do so, Kaalia re-enters their lives, instigates Raja against Veera. As a result Raja accuses Veera of theft and asks him to leave. The question does remain: Will Veera and Raja ever reconcile? What exactly was Kaalia's motive in separating Veera and Raja? However he is unaware that Sumati is still alive and has given birth to twins Rajesh and Mahesh; while Mahesh was separated at birth and grows up with Inspector Ram Avtar and his wife - Rajesh is taking care of his mother as she loses her mental balance in the trauma. Rajesh and Mahesh do get to unite as the girls they are in love with are link to each other. However, he himself is held by Inspector Amarnath for the homicide of his brother; his house is burned down by the trucking company owners; his wife is reportedly dead in the fire. Balwant escapes from prison and avenges his brother's death by severely maiming the truck company owners. Balwant continues to avenge the innocent, not through the rules of the corrupt police, lawyers and an equally corrupt judicial system but as a vigilante judge and executioner, calling himself "Teesri Adalat". All his sentences result in death. Years later, Balwant's wife is still alive but the trauma has left her speechless. She had given birth to twins, Mahesh and Rajesh. Mahesh was separated from her in childhood but Raja lives with her. Mahesh is adopted by Inspector Ram Avtar. Raja has a sweetheart in Kavita and Mahesh woos Sunita. Balwant and his family's paths cross when in order to get his adopted father a promotion, Mahesh decides to seek out Balwant and put an end to his "Teesri Adalat". —Soumitra

Ironically Vinay is once again approached by Shaadilal who confides to him that Deepak is behind the crime of arranging the passing of the illegal tenders. Unfortunately both Deepak and Vinay gets fired from their job. The same night Shankar red-handily catches Deepak committing a murder, arrests him and logged him in a cell; then Shankar goes home to hear that his niece, Pooja is pregnant with Deepak's child only to arrange the marriage of Pooja and Deepak. In the midst of the wedding Shankar is forced to arrest his brother, Vinay; unable to bear this Deepak decides to go about a quest that will provide evidences to prove Vinay's innocence only to be killed. Ram Chauhan makes a living as a farmer and lives with his brother, Lakshman. Years later, while still in prison, his friend, Govind, informs him that Raghupathi has been conned by Shrinath and his son, Monty, and they have hired an impersonator, who has killed Raghupathi and taken over the estate. Ajay is a wealthy man. His well wishers conspire against him and introduce him to his long lost mother, Shankuntala and brother Vijay. Unaware of their true intentions, overjoyed Ajay does not see his death coming. After death, Ajay`s spirit looks for his real brother and appeals revenge. Vijay agrees to follow Ajay`s spirit but he does not know where he is going might cost him his life.

Rajput began in 1975 as a dream project with all the makings of a blockbuster hit. It had Goldie as the director,LP as music directors; and Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna as the lead actors. Following her phenomenal success in Laila Majnu,the gorgeous Ranjeeta was also roped in. As if that was not enough, they also signed Tina Munim some time in the middle of the project. Unfortunately, the movie took seven years to see the light of the day, and it turned out to be only an average box office earner. There is no satisfactory explanation available as to why it took so long. Maybe there were problems with the dates of the overworked stars. To a viewer, the main problem appears to be the the weak story-line which ,it seems, was revised again and again, and it became weaker with each revision. The characters played by Dharmendra and Hema Malini are deeply in love, and they get physically intimate, but their parents-Om Shivpuri and Rehman- are sworn enemies. The result is that Hema gets married to the character played by Rajesh Khanna, and Dharmendra goes to jail as he kills the dacoit who attacks Hema Malini's Doli. Hema gives birth to Dharmendra's son who is raised by Rajesh Khanna as his own son, even though he knows the truth. Bhanu (Vinod Khanna) is in love with Kamali( Ranjeeta) who gets raped by Ranjeet who plays a tyrant ex ruler. Ranjeet is a widower who has a daughter from his first marriage-played by Tina Munim. Vinod Khanna forces Ranjeet to marry Ranjeeta, and kidnaps the daughter (Tina Munim) to settle the scores. Predictably, the kidnapped daughter falls in love with the kidnapper. In spite of the multi star billing, the bizarre twists to the story lead to the evident asymmetry in the relationships as Hema is the heroine for both Dharmendra and Rajesh Khanna; and Vinod Khanna is the hero for both Ranjeeta and Tina Munim. I give full marks to Goldie as he managed to make a watchable movie even though the project dragged for seven years for whatever reasons. Among the actors, Rajesh Khanna has performed the best. Physically, he looks less of a Rajput if you compare him with Dharmendra,Vinod Khanna, and Ranjeet. But his role was meatier, and he did full justice to it as the devoted lover, committed husband, caring and loving foster father, and a brave and intelligent Police Officer. Dharmendra didn't have much scope in the story. Vinod Khanna didn't have too much scope either, but he was the director's darling. Goldie sure gave special importance to his Guru Bhai ( Ref Acharya Rajneesh) ,Vinod Khanna, who gets significant footage particularly during the climax. It should be mentioned that while Goldie and Mahesh Bhatt had deserted Rajneesh, Vinod Khanna was still with the Godman and even went with him to America.He could shoot for the film only when he visited India. The girls were totally ignored except for some scintillating scenes of Hema Malini. Ranjeet was too young to play Tina's father and certainly inadequate to be the main villain. I recall when I first saw this movie, my fellow viewers wondered why Prem Nath was not there in the movie. Certainly a watchable film. The names of the actors should be taken to mean the characters played by them in the film.

Ralhan), Dr. Bukhari (Shammi Kapoor), Colonel Columbus (John Saxon), and Countess Rasmussen (Sylvia Miles). A stunned Kumar finds out that all of these invitees are master criminals and gangsters. Kumar's guise does not fool anyone, including his former sweetheart, Sheila Enders (Zeenat Aman), nevertheless John permits him to stay on, as he feels that Kumar's career, though an amateur, is consistent with those already present. The reason why John has invited them is to find a successor to take his place as he is dying of cancer. He feels that one of his invitees can be trusted to take his place and for this he has arranged for them to steal a diamond (shalimar) worth one hundred thirty-five crores of rupees. This gem is placed in a secure place within his palace, which is alarmed, and guarded by armed men twenty-four hours a day. He challenges one of them to steal the shalimar, but if anyone fails then he or she is killed instantly. Banerjee) tells Anup that Khanna is selling Anup's goods to multiple parties even without having the goods in possession. So, if Anup signs the deal, the company will not be able to deliver the goods, and it will cost them Rs 8 Lakhs in losses. Anup confronts Prem, but still loves Prem & continues to support him without the knowledge of his grandfather Ashok Verma (Ashok Kumar). Prem is the son of Ashok's daughter, while Anup is Ashok's grandson. Anup sees meeting his dream girl as a good sign, as that prevented him from signing the partnership documents and causing a huge loss to the company. Sapna and Chandu team up to scam rich people out of their money to support the orphanage. She even gives away Chintoo to Dr Kapoor (Ramesh Deo) (who lives in America and claims that Chintoo's disability can be cured with proper treatment in the US), but then can't see the kids being all sad as one of them is given away. She goes & gets Chintoo back. Ashok admonishes Anup for supporting Prem even when he knows of Prem's association with his hooligan friends. He is also sick of Anup's womanizing ways & wants to marry him off. Anup says he is in love & Ashok wants to meet the girl. Anup meets Sapna when she tries to swindle him again with the car hitting the pram trick. But this time Anup catches her red handed & gets her to pose as Princess Sapna, & his girlfriend in front of Ashok. Ashok is instantly fond of Sapna & refuses for her to leave the house. Now Chandu is caught by Colonel whom they duped earlier & is handed over to police. There is no one at home to care for the kids. The kids wander the streets to find Sapna & finally locate her. Tara Sen lives in a small town in India with her parents, a younger brother, sister, and an elder brother who lives in Calcutta. The police are summoned, Ghana is arrested and held in prison. Sen attempts to reason with the local Police Inspector Badal Gupta, known for womanizing and being an alcoholic, who agrees to withdraw all charges provided Tara marries him. Sen is reluctant, but Tara readily accepts, and their marriage takes place. Tara's husband does not give up on his bad habits, neither does he fulfill his promise of releasing Ghana. One day an argument ensues between Tara and him, followed by a struggle, blows are exchanged, with Tara hitting him on the head with an axe. He is hospitalized, Tara is arrested, but when he regains consciousness he refuses to press charges, then subsequently succumbs to his injuries, Tara is sentenced to prison. When she finds out that Ghana is doing time in Andamans, she requests for a transfer there, which is granted. When she reaches Andamans, she is told by the Warden that the only way she can meet with Ghana is by marrying him. But Ghana is old-fashioned and refuses to marry Tara on grounds that she is wealthy and he a lowly servant. Chachi treats Seeta like a servant, despite the fact that the family is living off her late parents' money. Seeta's only consolation is her old wheelchair bound grandmother (Pratima Devi). Kaushalya's daughter is Shiela (Honey Irani) who treats Seeta like her personal slave. Ranjeet (Roopesh Kumar) is Kaushalya's brother and lusts for Seeta and wants to sexually assault her. Kaushalya dresses up Seeta once a month when the trustee comes to give monthly allowance from her inheritance. Kaushalya will cease to be the guardian if Seeta gets married. One day Kaushalya removes Seeta's expensive Saree and forces her to parade half naked in the house in front of Ranjeet. Seeta is champion in all housework and very docile, but Geeta is street smart and knows no housework at all. Ravi (Sanjeev Kumar) is a wealthy doctor, who is looking for an "Indian" bride. The trustee suggests Seeta. When Kaushalya finds out, she dresses Sheila in an Indian attire and Seeta in a skimpy western attire for the meeting with Ravi and his parents. Ravi leaves when Seeta drops the tea tray after being tripped by Sheila. Grandmother emerges from her room and begs Ravi and her parents not to leave Seeta. One day, Seeta decides life is not worth living and runs away to commit suicide (The night after Ravi leaves, Ranjeet enters Seeta's room late at night and tries to sexually assault her. when Seeta screams Ranjeet accuses her of stealing his wallet and beats her with a belt). At the same time Geeta leaves home as Leela hits with a Jhaadoo for playing with kids instead of taking care of housework. Raka is worries about their performance and lack of resultant income. Badrinath reports Seeta's disappearance to the police. Seeta is saved by Raka but is mistaken for her identical twin Geeta and is taken to Geeta's home. Seeta finds motherly love in Leela and gladly accepts it. Meanwhile, Seeta's aunt and uncle are frantically searching for her and find Geeta. Geeta reports a street gambler to the police and the inspector identified her as Seeta based on report of Badrinath. The inspector, Badri and Kaushalya attempt to force Geeta to go with them but, using some of her clever tricks, she escapes them and the police who have been searching for her. She then meets Ravi (Sanjeev Kumar) and, though he also mistakes her for Seeta, she goes home with him. Ravi is surprised by this "Seeta" and the Seeta he had met previously. Geeta is then taken to Badri and Kaushalya's. Geeta realizes the cruelty that Seeta has been living under and vows to teach her aunt a lesson. Meanwhile, the real Seeta is living in Geeta's house. Her surrogate mother has attributed her new docile attitude to shock. Here, Seeta meets Raka (Dharmendra), Geeta's friend and fellow performer. Raka is also surprised by "Geeta's" sudden gentle nature and desire to do housework. When he tried to coax her into performing, she is unable to do so. Ravi meanwhile falls in love with Geeta. At home, Geeta begins to set everything on a proper course. She resumes control of the money and restores her grandmother to the head of the household (by giving her the keys to the house safe and giving her the head chair at the dinner table), where she belongs. Ravi proposes to Geeta, thinking she is Seeta. Raka begins to fall in love with Seeta. Trouble begins brewing when Chachi's brother Ranjeet returns home (he is also beaten up badly by Geeta by his own belt) and sees the real Seeta in a marketplace. He follows her and discovers the truth, which leads to a showdown in the villains' den. Seeta is abducted by Ranjeet. Ranjeet brings Raka to his house to expose Geeta. Ranjeet proves that Geeta is a street performer who wanted the riches of the house and a comfortable life by duping Ravi. Geeta is arrested by the police. Leela also comes and sees the photo of the rich couple of the wall and realizes the truth that Seeta and Geeta are sisters. Leela tells the truth to Raka. Raka rescues Geeta from jail. Ranjeet brings Ravi to his lair to treat Seeta, who has injured herself. Ranjeet wants to marry Seeta to become the legal heir of her wealth. Raka and Geeta track down Seeta and attack Ranjeet's lair. A fight ensues and Ranjeet is arrested. All is well.

India is in a state of war with Japan and former Colonel Kapoor's sons, Rajan and Ram are both with the Indian Armed Forces. The Indian Army wants to destroy this secret airport and sends a crack Commando unit under Major Ram, who sets out to carry out this task. Years pass and Vijay (Dharmendra) grows up into a fine young man. He decides to find employment as a police constable much to Kailashnath's displeasure. He gets Rs 300 per month as salary, which embarrasses Kailashnath. Gogo 'RamMilan' (Mehmood) is Kailashnath's driver. Gogo loves Chham Chham (Helen), who is a rich socialite. To impress her, Gogo acts like a rich businessman and Vijay helps him by posing as a driver. Chham Chaam is the daughter of trader Jatadhari (Dhumal). Dindayal (Madan Puri) also has his eyes on Chham Chham. When she brings Gogo home, Dindayal tries to convince Jatadhari that he looks like Kailashnath's driver and not his son. So Jatadhari insists that Gogo invite them to his house and introduce to his father. Gogo blackmails all the house servants (who have misdeeds of their own) to serve him as Kailashnath's son for the time Jata and his daughter are at the house. Vijay pretends to be Gogo's dad to convince Jatadhari. They both carry out an expansive charade and convince Jatadhari, before Kailashnath arrives and unravels their game. Amongst Vijay's first assignment is to locate a beautiful young woman, Kavita's (Vyjayanthimala), who he falls head-over-heels in love with, missing father (missing for 2 yrs). Vijay's boss is Kewal Mehra (Krishan Dhawan). Kavita finds out that her uncle Diwaan Saab (D.K. Sapru) had received a phone call a few days after her father's disappearance. A man named Ashok (Pran) threatened Diwan that Shyam Kumar (Manmohan) has the knowledge of what happened to Diwan's business partner and Step brother. Diwan promised to meet Ashok in Bombay. She feels that Diwan & Ashok conspired together to betray her father, and Shyam Kumar knows where her father is. Kavita travels to Bombay and meets Diwan Saab, where Shyam Kumar is a regular visitor. When Vijay announces himself as the CID officer to Diwan, Diwan meets Ashok. Ashok says he only fears Shyam as he saw many things. Shyam is blackmailing Diwan and needs Rs 5000 to keep his mouth shut. It is revealed that Diwan and Ashok buried Kavita's father in the jungle, where Shyam took a photo of their dastardly act. Meanwhile Shyam also lusts after Kavita. Vijay and Kavita start off on the wrong foot, when Kavita mistakes Vijay for Shyam and spends an entire day in picnic with him. Later, Vijay attends Kavita's birthday party and Kavita asks Shyam to teach Vijay a lesson, but Vijay easily defeats Shyam and makes a joke out of him. Kavita is mad with jealousy. She writes a love letter to Vijay inviting him to a lake, while planning with the boatman to drop Vijay in the middle of the lake, since she knows that Vijay doesn't know how to swim. The boatman is good friends with Gogo and reveals Kavita's plan to him and the news reaches Vijay. Vijay sends the letter to Shyam Kumar and thus Kavita's joke is played out on Shyam. Shyam ends up in the water and this further infuriates Kavita. Eventually Kavita falls for Vijay's charms and the 2 fall in love. Kavita tells Vijay how her father disappeared 2 yrs ago and only Shyam knows where he is. Kavita finds Vijay is a CID officer assigned to her father's case. Vijay asks Kavita to write a love letter to Shyam. Shyam agrees to divulge everything to Kavita and calls her for a meeting, alone. Ashok overhears this and decides to kill Shyam. He calls Diwan, but the call is received by Kavita. When Kavita goes to meet Shyam, she finds him dead. Meanwhile Savirti runs into Kailashnath, but doesn't reveal the switch that happened several yrs ago. Kailashnath meets Kavita and wants to meet her parents for her wedding. Kavita says she only has an aunt, and her name is Yashoda. Even her husband left her and since then she stays with them. Kailashnath meets the aunt and figures out that it is his wife. Kailashnath begs her to come home to meet Vijay. Now Ashok starts calling Kailashnath, saying that his name is Satish Raj. Satish claims to be Kailashnath's son and says when Kailash came to the orphanage to pick his son, he was handed another kid by mistake. Kailash decides to confirm the truth with Savitri. Savitri admits her mistake. Kailash goes home and tells the whole story to Yashoda. Kailash takes Yashoda to meet Satish Raj, their son. Kailash wants to stay together with Vijay, but this is not acceptable to Satish. When Vijay finds out, he reaches out to Satish. He brings Satish home and decides to leave himself. It is revealed that Satish is not Kailashnath's son, but the real son of Savitri, who decided to insert Satish as Kailash's son to lay a claim to his wealth. Meanwhile, on the streets, Vijay runs into his real mother Laxmi, while saving her from a bunch of goons. Laxmi lives her son, Gogo. Gogo has a friend named Mehmood Ali (Mehmood Jr.). Yashoda introduces Kavita to her son Satish. But Kavita recognizes his voice as Ashok, the man she heard speaking on the phone with her uncle. The news reaches Vijay who is convinced that Satish and Ashok are the same guy. Vijay goes to meet Savitri, whose testimony was crucial to the whole issue. Savitri gets scared and calls Ashok to meet her, without knowing that Vijay was keeping an eye on her. Now it is confirmed that Savitri and Ashok know each other and are conspiring. One day, Savitri runs into Yashoda at a doctor's clinic and follows her home. Meanwhile a blackmailer (Shatrughan Sinha) calls Satish and says that Shyam had left evidence with him with instructions to go to the police if he died. the Blackmailer wants a deal of Rs 1 Lakhs with Satish, in exchange for the evidence. Vijay was tapping Satish's phone and heard the entire conversation. Satish calls Diwan and asks him to go for the money delivery, since Vijay has his eyes on Satish. Vijay hears this also Now, Vijay and Kewal have captured the blackmailer and Kewal poses as the blackmailer in front of Diwan, when he comes for the drop. Diwan admits to killing Kavita's father and is arrested by Kewal's forces. Meanwhile Gogo is talking to Yashoda and mentions how Satish came into the Kailashnath household, and became his son, displacing Vijay. and the whole thing was due to Savitri's mistake. Yashoda says that Vijay is her son, whom Kailashnath brought from the Orphanage and in reality Gogo is Kailashnath's real son. Satish and Savitri overhear the whole conversation and kidnap Yashoda. Gogo had gone to fetch Vijay. Muhammad Ali sees the kidnapping and alerts Gogo and Vijay. Vijay attacks with Gogo, but Satish manages to overpower him. Satish starts a fire to kill everyone, but Vijay fights back and saves Yashoda and Gogo. The police arrives and arrests Satish Kailashnath accepts both Vijay and Gogo as his sons.

Tale of a female nurse trying to maintain a balance between her professional life and her emotions who falls victim to the natural feeling of love and compassion when a person takes care of another person. Colonel Saab is also a doctor in a psychiatric hospital in India. A reluctant Radha is asked to act as his caring mother-like nurse, to gain his trust, love him, and then make him ready to face everyday life. What Colonel Saab, Dev, and Arun do not realize what this is doing to Radha herself when she feels that she cannot act anymore and becomes more and more involved in her patients' lives, knowing fully well that she has to keep up a professional attitude, and that the patient is going to be discharged soon, and may not even remember the care, love and treatment he received from Radha. The department in which Rajesh works discovers that people are interested in stealing information about explosives from them, and start to guard against such an attack, but Rajesh is kidnapped and taken abroad. The kidnappers keep Rajesh imprisoned and send a look-alike, Jackoss, back to India to deceive the department. Jackoss is a non-Indian with blue eyes and a voice different from Rajesh's. To deceive Rajesh's department, he uses contact lenses and tells them that he lost his voice in the kidnapping. Rita believes him and accepts him as Rajesh, although she has some misgivings. Rajesh's dog and cook realise what has happened, so Jackoss kills them so they can't expose him. The authorities are also less trusting and do not allow Jackoss to enter the high-security zone until some other criminals help Jackoss to convince the authorities of his identity. Meanwhile Rajesh escapes and makes his way back to India. Jackoss had plans to blow up a laboratory, but Rajesh reaches it on time and foils his plan. Hukumat takes an instant liking to Raj, and tells him that his wife will only allow him to take up residence if he tells her that he is already married. Raj reluctantly does so, and thus acquires residence with the Rai family. Eventually Mrs. Rai takes a liking to Raj, so does Shanti. Shanti finds out Raj and her dad had lied to the family about Raj's marital status, she confronts Raj, and he readily admits that he lied. Both fall in love. Mr. and Mrs. Rai are thrilled, when they come to know that Raj and Shanti are in love, and excitedly plan their marriage. As Raj's brother is critically ill, Raj has to return to his village. After several days when Raj returns to the Rai family, he refuses to marry Shanti on the ground that he is going to marry Gauri (Sandhya Roy). The Rai family is devastated.
