Jatin and Karishma, who meet each other on a plane to India, are set to marry the partners chosen by their respective parents. However, they find themselves attracted to each other. Two young Indians, a male named Jatin, and a woman named Karishma, meet on an airplane, who is on it's way to India. Jatin is returning home to get married to a woman named Jaya, who has been chosen for him by his mother. Karishma is also returning to India to get married to an Indian named Nimesh. Their paths cross, and despite of the difference in their temperaments, both are attracted to each other. Both would like to get married, but also realize and stand by their commitment to Jaya and Nimesh. Will they marry the partners intended for them, and thus regret this meeting for the rest of their lives? —Sumitra (corrected by Carrie) Jatin (Fardeen Khan) has completed his MBA in U.S. and agrees to marry Jaya (Sonali Kulkarni), a girl of his mother has chosen for him. He has never seen Jaya but agrees because he loves his mother and cannot let her down. Then he bumps into hot-tempered Karishma (Amrita Arora) on the way. They develop instant dislike for each other but become friends over the journey. But they realize they have fallen in love with each other only after going their separate ways. —Soumitra Jatin is a successful Non-resident Indian in the U.S. He has come of age, and his parents decide he should get married. They go to see a suitable girl for him, and find her in Jaya Patel. They contact Jatin to come and get married, to which he agrees. On the way to India, he meets with Karishma, who is also on her way to India to get married to Nimesh. Major Ajit is sent to nab ex-Army officer Colonel Sodhi, who is hiding in the guise of Devraj Hathoda. Major Balbir Singh Sodhi (Amitabh Bachchan) attempts to kill Indian Home Minister Veer Bhadra Singh (Danny Denzongpa) but is unsuccessful. He has been identified, and the Army is on the lookout for him to court-martial him. They suspect that he has assumed a new identity, that of Devraj Hathoda alias Dadabhai. Major Ajit Arya (Nana Patekar) is assigned the task to investigate this, and he successfully manages to lure Balbir into admitting his true identity. Then Balbir clarifies to Ajit what the motive was behind his assassination attempts on the Home Minister, and Ajit decides to join forces with Balbir to expose the Home Minister. Then terrorist Ghafoor Changezi announces that no worshipper will be permitted to visit the Holy Shrine of Mata Sheravali during the Navratri Fest, and the Home Minister accepts the challenge, to make himself even more popular. Marte Dam Tak a 1987 Indian Hindi film, directed by Mehul Kumar. The film stars Govinda, Raaj Kumar and Farha in lead roles. The film had musical score by Ravindra Jain. Sub-Inspector Rane is a honest and diligent Police Officer. He comes to know that a gangster by the name of P.C. Mathur is behind numerous criminal dealings and gets a warrant for his arrest. Before he could arrest Mathur, he himself gets arrested for murder, is tried in Court, and sentenced to seven years in prison. After the end of his prison term, Rane becomes an underworld figure known as Rana, and his main motive is to locate Mathur at any cost and kill him. But the wily Mathur manages to elude him. Then Rana hires a young man named Jai to kill Mathur. Jai accepts this assignment, but ends up killing another man by the same name. Jai decides to give him a life of crime so that he can atone this killing by looking after the blind daughter, Rajni, and widow of Mathur, leaving Rana alone to fend himself against Mathur and his growing gang of criminal elements, including Sonu, Ricku, and Daulat alias D.K.. Rajesh Mehra lives a wealthy lifestyle with his mom, Sarita, and dad. His dad finalizes his marriage with Malti, who is the daughter of equally wealthy, Jagdish Kapoor. When Rajesh is told, he refuses to marry Malti as she is mentally unstable, an argument ensues, and Rajesh angrily leaves. He befriends a poultry farmer, Majid Kaliya, and lives rent-free in a room in his house. Rajesh takes to singing in a nightclub, meets with wealthy Ritu Mafatlal and both fall in love with each other. Mafatlal wants a rich groom for Ritu, and refuses to permit them to marry, so both elope, get married, and Malti moves in with Rajesh in Majid's room. This does not auger well with Majid's wife, Shabnam, who refuses to permit both to sleep together. Understanding their frustration, Majid gives them two passes to Mysore where they can spend time with each other - the only problem is that the passes are in the names of Kaushal and his sister Kamini Tiwari. Watch what happens when the duo end up at the Srivastav household, run by the Hitler-like Jailor, who had been fired from his job for letting Veeru and Jai (of Sholay) escape from his penitentiary, and are wooed by Murari and Leela Srivastav.
