Henry`s short story `The Gift of the Magi`, Sifar is directed by Dhruv Sachdev and stars Sudha Chandra, Kanikka Kapur and Anang Desai in the lead roles.

Based on an urban legend in Chanderi, Stree is set in a town where everyone is familiar with the fables of a strange woman who calls men by their name and abducts them, leaving their clothes behind. Nobody knows any facts - and those who are abducted seldom show up to tell stories but the fear is palpable. Everybody diligently makes sure the inscription O Stree, Kal Aana (O Woman, Come Tomorrow) is written on their walls, and at night try and stay indoors.

Corrupt politicians have been robbing the villagers off the money provided to them by the government. Fed up of this, four good-for-nothing friends decide to loot the same politicians in order to take back what is theirs. They not only bring back the black money, which was once white, but also manage to expose the corrupt measures of such politicians.

This is the story of an underworld don, Shoaib (Akshay Kumar), who killed his mentor in the past (Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai) to gain supremacy and is now the ruling mafia king. His influence and power has spread right up to the Middle East, today. Shoaib is now a flamboyant, suave man who is feared and revered. Shoaib`s only confidantes are his best friend Javed, who oversees his empire for him and his former lover Mumtaz (Sonali Bendre) who is now his closest friend. He often visits the poor Muslim areas where he grew up and it is on one such visit that he meets Aslam (Imran Khan). He takes him under his wings and gradually Aslam becomes one of his favourites. Shoaib wants to gain full control over Bombay and this is met with resistance from two existing ganglords - Vardha and Arun. Vardha and Arun join hands with a cop - Sreenu, whose only purpose in life is finishing off Shhaib`s reign, for which he gladly joins hands with the ganglords. While Bombay continues to be the object of their fancy, Shoaib stumbles upon a young actress - Yasmin (Sonakshi Sinha). He is immediately taken in by her freshness, beauty and candor. Slowly, but surely his attraction towards Yasmin goes onto becoming an obsession. This creates a rift between Shoaib and Aslam and results in the ultimate showdown between the mentor & protege.

Produced by Premchandra Jha, the film introduces Dildar Arsh Deol in the lead. Bombay City lives in fear of a notorious thief who calls himself Chindi Chor, and steals whenever and whatever he desires without any regard to security, and police protection. When Ghoshal announces the exhibition and subsequent auction of Emperor Babushah's crown, Chindi challenges him that he is going to steal this priceless crown, and Ghosal accepts the challenge, and hires private security guards. Chindi carries out the theft, and two of the security guards, Vikram and Ajay, and an accomplice, John D'Souza, become prime suspects, and are on the run. They must apprehend Chindi and recover the crown to absolve themselves of this crime. While being chased by security guards, the trio crash into a wall, and are transported back to the 10th century, straight into the palace of Emperor Babushah himself. The trio think they are on the sets of a Bollywood movie, and take nothing seriously, until they are imprisoned. It is then the hapless trio realize that they must not only escape, but must also take the crown, back with them to the 21st century to absolve themselves of this crime.
