Balkrishna is an intuitive tour guide who enjoys touring folks around and telling them historic tales that are significant to Panhala and the Indian culture. After an unexpected car crash on a mountain road, Ajay and his wife Sneha`s lives get entangled with the lives of Swastik and Madhavi, a newly married couple. Through a strange turn of events, Balkrishna and the warring couples embark on a twist life-changing journey that mirrors the murky side of the slowly modernizing Indian society today. Panhala`s ``Pride``, Balkrishna Guide also teaches us that making peace with history can lead us to a better future.

Nandu works hard as a farmer living off one crop to another, setting his eyes towards the sky praying for timely rain. However, his debt keeps rising by the day, including the worry of an unmarried sister in the family. Nandu is joined by his friend from the city, Rajaram, who comes to the village out of compulsion, but with big hopes of growing a crop with limited resources. Like a good friend he comes to the rescue of Nandu, during his hard times, but that support is not enough to shoulder the burden falling on Nandu.

Nandini is on last stage of cancer during this time tragedy strikes as her husband is killed by a village rival,Nandini now is forced to put all her four children for adoption to give them a better life.
