This is the story of a struggling singer who was named Lattuprasad (Diljit Dosanjh) in a moment of inspiration by his parents. However, there is nothing inspirational about his life, which basically involves him performing in marriages and parties for his living. Lattu is a failed singer who runs an orchestra named Disco Singh. He dreams of only two things - success and Sweety. Sweety (Surveen Chawla) is a beautiful and successful model. Lattu keeps on praying to god to send an angel who can make his dreams come true. And sure enough, God does send someone. Bhupinder Singh aka Paaji (Manoj Pahwa) is a dreaded don who is not really an angel but Yamraj. He asks Lattu to do a job for him in return of which Lattu will get all the money that he wants. And so begins Lattu`s hilarious journey where he tries to woo Sweety while trying to save his life from Paaji. Things keep on getting more and more complicated for Lattu and how he manages to escape from all these pangas is what forms the rest of the story.

A second-generation Sikh in London gives up his dream to save his father`s reputation until he meets a girl who gives him the strength to stand up for what he believes. This cross-generation drama is about second chances.

Maanav is a struggling filmmaker who does not want to compromise on his script. His girlfriend Ruchi is a successful film editor who arranges for him to meet Nitin, a producer. Nitin likes the script but is not very sure of its box office potential. Maanav then suggests a story from the Panchtantra: A woman is caught red-handed with her lover by her husband and yet, she manages to wriggle out of it scot-free! Nitin loves the story but finds it too short for a feature film. Maanav then creates three more stories based on the same premise: in a way, the Panchantra story travels in different versions to the modern times through the film. The four stories are woven together by a common story. Mirch itself echoes this structure, with four stories mingling with the main narrative.

A man is torn between his handicapped brother and his ladylove, where he finds difficult whom to choose. Raj Dixit lives with his younger brother, Rahul, who is disabled, both mentally and physically, from birth. Raj is also employed full-time, and after work, has the responsibility of looking after Rahul, which leaves him no time for himself. His beautiful neighbor, Suman Gupta, is attracted to him, but he regards her as a friend only. When Mr. Khanna introduces him to his niece, Madhuri, both instantly falls in love. The only problem is that Madhuri will only marry Raj, if Rahul is institutionalized. Ravi Verma is an honest and diligent Inspector who lives with his wife, daughter, and brother Raghuveer. However, he is again falsely accused for murdering Ganpath. This time, Raghuveer is tortured in prison in front of his own brother as Ravi misunderstands him too. After his brother gets murdered, Raghuveer escapes prison. Does he murder the villains? Does he get arrested again? Rukmini even suspects Shyam of having an illicit relationship with Radha, a librarian. Rukmini's stepmother and uncle, who have an eye on Rukmini's wealth, further fuel the misunderstanding to the point of breaking their marriage.

On a chilly foggy night two men alight from a train at an isolated railway station, and stay for a night at the Dak Bangla. One of these men is Ajay Sachdev, and the other is Prem Kumar Chopra. Shortly after their arrival, a series of brutal murders shake up the region. The mysteries behind these murders are compounded by the appearance of a white Saree-clad female apparition, which appears and disappears at will. And ghostly cries are heard from a nearby graveyard. The police are involved and their investigation results in the arrest of a suspect, Ajay, who had a motive, and was present during all the deaths, but they have no answers as to the apparition and the cries from the graveyard.
