Sulekha, a short tempered and cranky old woman whose son works abroad, lives with Phuli, the only household help willing to stay with her. Then one day Chandan, a young man, joins as a caretaker but finds himself at loggerheads with Sulekha. What follows is a moving story about loneliness and relationships.

A group of friends comes across their missing college senior while on a trip. They decide to bring him back to the city and reunite him with his college sweetheart. The story revolves around a group of boys and girls who came to University to study during the 1990s. Three boys and one girl were batch mates whereas one boy and one girl were senior to them. The senior guy was very popular among students and was a strong believer of value-based politics. These juniors became close confidante of him and formed a closed group with common interests and idealism. At present, all are well settled in their personal and professional lives except the senior guy. During his last year in college, he suddenly vanished among strong electoral violence and still today, no one knows about his whereabouts. The senior girl, his love interest, is also passing through unhappy turbulent married life. These guys plan for a reunion at Kolkata among themselves and go back down memory lane. They plan for a quick trip to hills and lend their hands to take a seriously sick patient to district hospital due to requests of desperate villagers. To their great surprise and shock, they found that the patient is none other than their lost senior. They discover his changed life and his single-handed developmental works for the poor in the hills and start dreaming of reuniting with him again and thus decide to bring him back to Kolkata for treatment and arrange for a Reunion. GLAUBER, CLARO composes the portrait of the greatest exponent of Brazilian cinema of all times, Glauber Rocha, in his Italian experience in parallel with his penultimate movie CLARO (1975).

The film is based on a Suchitra Bhattacharya novel. It deals with the dilemma faced by doctors of choosing between ethics and material pleasure. A successful gynaecologist and happily married man has to confront his internal conflict at a crucial time.

The story is of Doctor Kingshuk Guha a gynaecologist who is out negotiating the purchase of a luxury apartment for himself and his wife Rammani and is unable to attend to an emergency because of a traffic jam. When his women patient Kavita dies after developing complications following a caesarean delivery, her more militant family members hold the doctor responsible and smash up the nursing home. Even Kingshuk's wife believes he is guilty of negligence. Rammani's struggle with her conscience is depicted through her conversations with the dead woman whom she has seen lying abandoned on an operating table. The doctor hires a defence lawyer but is persuaded by pragmatic but amoral medical colleagues to settle out of court.
