Tara wants to hear Julie's life story before she grants her request. Julie's goes into the past to narrate her life. Julie (Neha Dhupia) is a girl next door from Goa, with her boyfriend Neil (Yash Tonk). Her father (Sudhir Joshi) runs a bakery and Julie is happy in her small life. Neil is ambitious and wants to be a rich businessman like Braganza. Julie says that a small house and a happy life is enough for her. Julie presses Neil to get married but he is not willing to commit. Neil seduces Julie to have sex with her. Julie's friend Dinky had recently moved to Mumbai to become an air-hostess. Neil moves away from Goa for a few weeks to Bangalore for a business-related purpose, and Julie starts dreaming of a family with him. Neil comes back and marries the daughter of a business tycoon in Goa, Braganza, in exchange of managing his business empire in Goa. Julie is heartbroken and cannot stand to be in Goa, as everything in Goa reminds her of Neil and his betrayal. Via Dinky Julie decides to move to Mumbai. Dinky gets Julie a job at a construction company. They both visit a salon where Dinky tells Julie that the owner Delnaz runs a side business as a pimp and supplies high class call girls to the high and mighty of Mumbai. Julie has bright interior design ideas at her job (such as color of walls to sky blue) and her ideas impress her bosses, specifically Rohan who is the resident interior designer at the company. Due to her suggestions, the entire project gets sold out in double quick time. Rohan charms Julie with sweet-talk and soon starts dating Julie. Rohan wins a large contract due to Julie's ideas. He says he wants to marry her, and Julie has sex with him. One day, she is physically abused by Rohan (Sanjay Kapoor). Rohan wanted Julie to sleep with a prospective client to help him win the contract, but Julie reacts violently. Rohan had argued that he was anyways planning to marry Julie, but one night with the client would have secured their financial futures for their entire life. Heartbroken and emotionless, she loses faith in love and decides to become a call girl (she meets Delnaz at a coffee cafe, and she understands her exploitation). Delnaz connects with Julie and says that a man always wants a woman to give up in front of impossible circumstances and don't expect her to fight back. She encourages Julie to take charge of her own life. Julie decides to create her own identity. That night, when Julie met Delnaz, she slept with her first client and became a professional prostitute. Dinky was away on an overseas assignment and hence could not stop Julie from taking this extreme step. One day Julie is asked to have sex with a minister in Delhi, but the payment is arranged by a different person. Turns out that the middleman was Neil. He is ashamed that Julie has become a prostitute, but Julie is not. Julie has a chance meeting with Mihir Shandilya (Priyanshu Chatterjee). Mihir is staying at the same hotel where Julie had come to "service" the minister. Mihir is a multi-millionaire and one of the most eligible bachelors in town, leads to their instant liking for each other. Julie's purse is stolen and Mihir gives her a lift to her home. She doesn't have the keys (they were in the purse), so Mihir ends up spending the night with Julie at the beach. The next day he rushes back from the office to propose to her (his father had sent the photo of a girl from London, which makes Mihir realize that he loves Julie) Mihir is completely besotted by her beauty and, being a family-oriented man, proposes marriage to her. Mihir has a loving and supportive family, who all welcome Julie with a warm heart. The family includes Mihir's sister Sonia (Donny Bharadwaj). All is well except that Mihir, and his family are unaware of the fact that Julie is a high-profile prostitute. During a TV interview, Mihir surprises everyone by mentioning that there is someone special in his life. Julie is now in a dilemma. If she tells her future husband about her socially unacceptable profession then she may not be accepted by his family and if she doesn't, that will be bring untold pain and misery to them (and they are nice people). Julie does not want the family to suffer on account of her checkered past. Julie goes to the TV Show host Tara (Achint Kaur) saying she wants to be interviewed by her. Tara agrees after listening the Julie's entire life story. As the show goes live on air, it creates a mini earthquake in Mumbai political and financial circles, when she claims that Mihir loves her. The show goes off air due to protests and comes back on in a few hours with police protection. Mihir arrives on the sets and says that he knew the truth about Julie from 3 days ago. He still declares his love for Julie and re-commits his marriage proposal to her. He gives a lecture on how society wants prostitutes but won't accept them in their houses.

The stories include: A husband trying to scare his wife; a man stuck at a creepy "healthy hotel"; a teacher spooked by a child's homework; a housewife scared of apples; a bizarre lift on a freeway; and a college kid with an unusual power. Unlike the usual Indian horror film, this does not resort to sound effects and visuals for thrills. Each sketch has its moments, though a couple of them could have been brilliant with small script changes and a resistance to oversimplifying. Most of the actors do decent jobs, especially Raghubir Yadav as the freaked-out teacher. —Joyojeet Pal A group of friends are stranded in a remote rural area when their vehicle breaks down. Their case is handed down to a capable CBI officer Akram Sheikh who comes around with a plan to crush these ISI agents by taking his crew through an underground tunnel to reach the duo hide-out. LOC Kargil opens with a dramatic shot of an Indian soldier's wireless set chirping frantic commands from one of the army bases, calling a patrol to report in while the radio operator lies dead in the snow. After frantic attempts from battalions to locate their lost patrols, the Indian Army HQ in Jammu and Kashmir decides to deploy more troops. They suffer a rude shock when company and even battalion-sized attacks are beaten back by the largely unknown enemy sitting on top of the steep and treacherous peaks surrounding Kargil, Mushkoh Valley, Drass, Batalik and the Kaksar sectors. After these terrible and surprising reverses, the decision is taken to go ahead with maximum mobilization and move its best fighting units into the area of operations. Orders are not to cross LOC. The first unit deployed is 1/11 Gorkha Rifles (1st Battalion, 11th Regiment) who are specialists in high-altitude warfare. 1/11 is led by its commanding officer, Col. Lalit Rai (Sudesh Berry), and has the charismatic and brave Lt. Manoj Pandey (Ajay Devgan) leading one of its platoons. Subsequently, the 18th Grenadiers (which was in the Kashmir Valley guarding against terrorist infiltration when they were urgently summoned to help throw out the intruders) are deployed. The Grenadiers were led by Colonel Khushal Thakur (Raj Babbar). Among the officers and soldiers were men like Lt. Col R Vishwanathan (Mohnish Behl), Major Rajesh Adhikari (Karan Nath), Lt. Balwan Singh (Akshaye Khanna), Captain Sachin Nimbalkar (Vineet Sharma), and Grenadiers Yogendra Singh Yadav (Ashutosh Rana & Manoj Bajpai). Other units like the 17th Jat, 2nd Rajputana Rifles, 22 & 16 Grenadiers, 2 Naga, 1 Bihar, 8 Sikh, 18 Garhwal Rifles, 12 JAK LI, 3 Punjab and 13th J&K Rifles are inducted into the theatre of conflict. The first assault is by the 1/11 Gorkhas advance platoon led by Lt. Manoj Pandey which links with the beleaguered and severely mauled Sikh Bn. They follow up to launch its attack on Kukarthang post, a very heavily defended enemy position supported by mortar units and artillery batteries on the Pakistani side of LOC. The Gurkhas take Kukarthang after suffering heavy casualties, revealing that the enemy is a trained army unit being given full-fire support from across the LOC. The second battle is at the strategic Tololing mountain which sits astride National Highway 1, the main supply route for the entire Northern Kashmir sector including Siachen and Leh. Col. Khushal's 18th Grenadiers 1st company, led by Major Adhikari, attacks Tololing. The company is held up midway to the top due to heavy fog; it waits for clear weather. The men when half asleep suffer intense shelling from artillery and mortars, causing casualties and panic. They try to get to safety by moving up the mountain but are pushed down by heavy small-arms fire from intruders dug into the well-prepared position atop the mountain. Subsequent counter-attacks from the Indians are stifled by stiff resistance, in the absence of artillery support for the Indians, claiming the lives of Major Adhikari and Lt. Col. Vishwanathan. The 18th Grenadiers are relieved by 2nd Rajputana Rifles, commanded by Col. Ravindranath (Ashish Vidyarthi), which moves in with an artillery battery of 110 mm field artillery and acclimatized troops. They launch a multi-pronged attack under artillery cover which ends in success but at the cost of losing many officers and ranks, including Capt. Vijayant Thapar (Amar Upadhyay), Maj. Padmapani Acharya (Nagarjuna Akkineni) and Maj. Vivek Gupta (Himanshu Malik). All this happens while the 13th J&K Rifles led by Lt. Col. Y K Joshi (Sanjay Dutt) stands by in case the 2nd Raj Rif fails. The 13th JAK Rif is blooded at Rocky Mount where they take the field after suffering heavy casualties. They follow it up with another victory at Point 5140 where Lt. Vikram Batra (Abhishek Bachchan) distinguishes himself by taking the south face of Pt 5140 without any casualties and is promoted to captain. The decisive phase of the war has come. 18th Grenadiers are assigned to take Tiger Hill, 17th Jat to Three Pimple complex feature, 1/11 Gorkhas to Khalubar Ridge and 13th J&K to Bunker Complex. The Grenadiers take Tiger Hill after a daring stealth attack by the elite Ghatak section, losing its lead Nk Yogender Singh Yadav (Ashutosh Rana). Only one of them Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav (Manoj Bajpayee) survives to link up with the rest of the battalion. 17th Jat suffers heavy casualties with Captain Anuj Nayyar (Saif Ali Khan) and several others killed and injured, but is able to secure Three Pimple complex. 1/11 Gorkhas link up with 22 Grenadiers at the base of Khalubar Ridge after braving an intense creeping barrage of artillery. Pandey somehow keeps the sagging morale of the weary unit up till the battalion begins its attack. The plans go awry as Gurkha CO Col Rai is injured by machine gun fire. Pandey volunteers to take out the bunkers which are holding up the attack. The machine guns are taken out, but Pandey is killed in action. The last battle is fought by the 13th J&K attacking Bunker Complex, but the unit gets split up. Capt Batra is sent to link up with Captain Nagappa (Nagender Choudhary) who has been captured one bunker and surrounded by the enemy. Batra links up with Capt. Nagappa but is pinned down himself by heavy enemy fire. He alone takes out two bunkers but is mortally wounded. The 13th JAK pursues the enemy to the LOC but stops due to orders not to cross the LOC. Finally, India declares 'OPERATION VIJAY' a success and victory and secures all its captured heights from the adversary. Just like J. P. Dutta's previous war movie BORDER, the Indian Military provided technical and material assistance during its production and filming. Weapons used in Kargil War like different variants of INSAS rifle family as well as the Famous Swedish Bofors artillery guns and BM-21 multiple rocket launchers. Air Force planes like Jaguars in bombing role and helicopters like Mi-17s and Cheetah were shown in casualty evacuation roles. Pakistani artillery shown were Indian field guns and 81 mm mortars. SLR stood for G3 rifles used by Pakistani Army.

When Nirmal returns he is informed of the accident, and he believes his dad dies of a car accident. One day while romancing with his girlfriend Sandhya (Mamta Kulkarni), he comes across Satpal, who is now confined in a mental institution. Curious to see what Satpal has to say about the accident, Nirmal arranges for more qualified doctors in the big city to examine Satpal. Unknown to Nirmal, Superintendent of Police Thappa (Raj Babbar) is plotting with Raja (also played by Sanjay Kapoor) to kill Nirmal and take his place, Raja's girlfriend, Nisha (Manisha Koirala) overhears this and questions Raja, but Raja lies to her. Things start to change for the worst for Nirmal's dad and Diwanji when Raja is introduced to the family, and with the help of Thappa establishes his identity and fools everyone. When confronted with the news of her son's death, Gayetri loses control and with the help of a corrupt doctor, Ugranarayan has Gayetri committed to a mental hospital, where the doctor, Dr. Neelkanth (Alok Nath) inflicts shock treatment and other tortures on the brain of Gayetri, thus rendering her a virtual vegetable. Several years pass by, and then one day Gayetri escapes from her tormentors. Then begin the sudden deaths of Ugranarayan, his family, and his goons.
