Colours of Innocence is a Bengali movie starring Samiul Alam and Shakuntala Barua in prominent roles. It is a drama directed by Manas Mukul Pal.

An epic adventure inspired from two fascinating tales by Mr. Samaresh Basu- `Rai Raja Udhhar` & `Mohish Mordini Udhhar`. It has been shot in the scenic locales of rural Bengal where a bag of mixed events take place right from the study of a historian about the Maharaja and the Zamindars by Joy who is lovingly called Magic Dada, to the eccentric preparations of the Mohish Mardini Pujas whose idol gets lost. Rai Raja, the wealthiest noble man in the whole locality is said to have lost his sanity. Amongst all this chaos comes along Gogol, an 11 year old boy with a penchant for solving mysteries.

This film tells the story of Abir and Nandini where circumstances bring them together and they cannot stay away from each other in spite of obstacles in their way. Do these forces prevent them from coming together or do they manage stay together?

The film is about a crippled doctor who helps a paralyzed rape victim. A young woman is molested one evening in her office. While fighting off the three men, she sustains injuries and is bedridden for a while. She is fortunate enough, however, to receive proper medical care and also emotional support. The Doctor decides to treat her. How will he overcome all odds and do it?

Toofan' is the story of Manik, Archana and their three sons Rabi, Raja and Ranju who are separated because of Mona, the goon on a stormy night. A tough cop must come to terms with his brother and rival, and with his mother's tainted past. Samrat is the local goon of Debipur who is a terror for the corrupt and a saviour of the poor. He is the only solace of the poor villagers against all odds including the evil moneylender Pannalal. His increasing power and popularity with the people led to the Police department bring in their best man, Subroto in charge of the area. This leads to a tiff between the two brothers, unknown of each other's identity. Samrat is actually the elder brother of Subroto, who was left at the hands of a nurse soon after his birth by the unmarried mother's father (Subroto's grandfather).
