Inheriting from the ancestors, the legacy of the Ayurveda panacea `Vajrakavach`, a famed and effective remedy for all ills, the brother duo Pooran and Kaala use the kavach with varied intentions. While Pooran who is good-hearted puts in use his heritage to help people, Kaala looks out for his interest in money. Parmar, an erstwhile Casanova and a colorful character who is also a sharp and intelligent lawyer of repute, is the paying guest in the brothers` house. He is a thorn in Kaala`s side, as he is paying the same rent for 35 years, that is of 125 rupees. Adding to the Punjabi mix, Chikoo is a pretty Gujarati girl, who steals Kaala`s heart and brings a sinister twist to the tale.

Mr. Verma is the proud owner of a spacious bunglow named "Dharam Niwas". He is critical of his second son, Jaggan Verma (Kiran Kumar) due to his drinking habits, people of lose or no morals, and asks him to leave the house. Jaggan leaves the house, but swears that he will avenge this humiliation. Years later, Mr. Verma has passed away, and Jaggan has two sons, Raghunath (Paresh Rawal), and Rocky (Gulshan Grover); while Mr. Verma's elder son, Bharat (Rakesh Pandey) has two sons, Avinash (Shatrughan Sinha), an Assistant Commissioner of Police, and Vicky (Sanjay Dutt). This is when Jaggan's plan comes into being, and he has Avinash framed and sent to prison for 14 years. Inspector Ajay lives with his widowed mother in a city in India. He has been assigned the task of bringing in notorious bandit and gangster named Cobra, who has been terrorizing and killing people all over India. He does succeed in arresting him, and holds him in a cell, only to find out that he is insane, and must be institutionalized. Thereafter, Ajay awaits Cobra's treatment so that he can proceed with his investigation. One day while his mother packs his lunch, he finds out that it was poisoned, it did not affect him, but it kills another colleague. His mother, relieved to find out that Ajay is alright, is more concerned about Cobra, who was also sent some food. Ajay is baffled as to why his mother would feed a senile criminal, and he sets out to find out why. Union Leader Vijay Saxena wants his employer, Dhanraj, to treat his employees as shareholders, and for this purpose he presents him a cheque of 10 lakh rupees being their contribution, which Dhanraj accepts. Then the company shows huge losses, as a result the employees are unhappy and are certain that Dhanraj has manipulated the accounts to show a loss. To make matters worse, an employee loses his leg, and is hospitalized, unable to be employed there anymore. Dhanraj promises a compensation of Rs. 60,000 but the worker only ends up getting Rs.10,000. When Vijay confronts Dhanraj, he is told that Mohan, another employee, may have been responsible for stealing the balance Rs.50,000. Vijay threatens to kill Mohan, and shortly thereafter Mohan's dead body is found with multiple stab wounds, also killed are his wife and child. Vijay is caught red-handed, arrested by Police Inspector Jaikishan Verma, and tried in court. Jaikishan's wife, Sub-Inspector Jyoti, comes to his rescue in court, testifying that she was with him at the time the murders took place, thus shattering her married life with Jaikishan, as well as the life of her sister, Vidya, who is to be married to Vijay. Two childhood friends from different social classes grow close after a mother's intervention. As adults, their friendship faces challenges when a business dispute over land creates tension between their families. There are the good guys and the goons. The plot begins with the murder of an union leader, Acharya which leads to a gang whose members are identified by a gold medal with the gang's logo. Enter the head of Secret Services, David, a mysterious figure who weaves a web to bring the gang to book, including the mastermind. Gopal, a young officer is tasked with the job. To support him Dimple (David's niece) alias Shoba plays the girlfriend of Gopal and acts as a communication conduit. When Bindu a nightclub dancer is murdered and Gopal become the prime suspect Gopal joins the gang and earns the trust of the leader. Exploring the netherworld of drugs, stolen antiques, smuggling of gold and silver, creating social and religious tensions he learns the innermost secrets of the gang. Is Gopal a double agent, or has he found the lure of power, money and corruption irresistible? Has he turned triple? Will Shoba play along with Gopal's deceit? An excellent film on the life and legacy of the legendary mystic and guru, Sai Baba of Shirdi. Pooja lives with her doctor husband and a young son. Her son becomes seriously ill and does not respond to any medication, her husband wants him to be moved to a hospital for further treatment, but Pooja has heard of Sai Baba and wants her son to be treated there. Her son regains consciousness for a short while and demands that he be taken to Shirdi, the town of Sai Baba. So they travel there, and that is where they meet with an ardent devotee of Sai Baba who recounts the tale behind the Baba. A young boy who traveled with a marriage procession to Shirdi, he stayed there, grew up, looked after by the kind townspeople, who subsequently named him Sai Baba. He showed Ganpat Rao that he is one with Vithoba and Bhagwan Shri Kishan; he demonstrated to Som Dev that he is one with Bhagwan Shri Shiv; former jailbird Heera regained his eyesight with Sai's blessing; During all of these miracles, the Sai always went door to door begging for alms and food. The legend grew, people flocked all over to witness this new Messiah, one whom the Muslims called "Allah Sai", Christians "Jesus Sai", Sikhs "Nanak Sai", and Hindus "Bhola Sai". Sai could recite scriptures from all the Holy books, whether it was the Holy Quran, the Holy Bible, the Holy Granth Sahib, or the Holy Geeta, and always blessed Hindus with "Allah bless you", and Muslims with "Krishna bless you". After his passing, a temple was built in his memory.
