RRR is a period drama set in India during the 1920s, revolving around the inspiring journey of two of India`s freedom fighters - Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

The film is based on Back To Future in which we see Nagarjuna flying off to future to help himself and his father.

Shiva (Jiiva) is taught by his grandfather (Prakash Raj) to be bold and brave and fight against all odds, especially all that`s evil. One day Shiva gets arrested by the police after fighting with another law student, Guna who is one of Gowri`s gang. He is rescued by Priya (Shriya), who is impressed seeing him fight for the common good. They fall in love. The rest is how Shiva fights the evil that comes his way and keeps up to his grandfather`s expectations till the end.

The movie is about two sons of an idealistic school teacher who turn into ruffians. One of the brothers runs away from home and becomes an underworld don, while the other turns into a local mafia of sorts. But when they meet year later, the story takes on a strange turn.

A remake of the 2001 French film, Wasabi, Jaggubhai is the story of an Indian police officer, Jagannathan (Sarath Kumar) who is sent to Australia on a mission to deal with anti social elements there.

Kanthaswamy is about the economical differences that prevail between different classes of the Indian population. The film`s protagonist is an investigating officer of high rank. While handling problems related to the country`s security and development, the officer goes through specific property details of affluent businessmen and NRIs. On further investigation, he finds that the wide gap between the rich and the poor is the root cause for so many problems. He tries to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. By using his position and power, Vikram identifies and unearths crores of rupees of unaccounted money tucked away by the bigwigs in strange nooks and corners of the globe under varied names and ownerships and distributes them legitimately to the middle class and lower middle class people. Thus, he becomes a hero like a modern day Robin Hood. All the adventures he goes through on his mission is what makes the film fascinating.

Nandu (Bobby Deol) is an orphan turned assassin. He`s framed for a politician`s murder and is on the run. While travelling on a train, he meets Puran (Akshay Kapoor), who is on his way to his hometown after fourteen years. They talk through the journey and Puran tells Nandu all about his joint family and the wedding of a cousin that he is on his way to attend. Soon, the police catch up with Nandu and shoot him. But unfortunately Puran takes the bullet while shielding his new friend and dies on the spot. Nandu goes to Puran`s family home to return his grandfather`s watch and also to inform his family of his tragic death. But, in their joyful state amidst the celebrations, they presume that Nandu is Shekhar and drag him full on into it. Preet is a friend of the family and falls in love with Nandu on first sight. Nandu also likes her but CBI Inspector Rane is all out to look for the politician`s murderer. Will Nandu ever ride over the crisis? Who is the actual killer? What happens to Nandu and Preet`s love?

The patients at a hospice for senior citizens leave for their final destination. Pierre Creton provides the follow-up to his film Maniquerville.

Fighting against the powers of corruption in this day and age is Sivaji (Rajnikanth) who leads a revolt against educational institutions, who sell seats to the highest bidder. Building his own educational institutions and offering free education, he becomes the target of corrupt officials, who not only try to destroy his credibility but also try to kill him. Sivaji is directed by S. Shankar.

A software engineer comes to India in order to serve the nation and invest in its welfare. A few corrupt officials and politicians try to stop him while he tries to do good for the poor. Held in a cell, Sivaji reflects how he came to be under police scrutiny and his subsequent arrest for a variety of economic offenses. He had returned to Chennai from the U.S. to live with his parents and maternal uncle, and had hoped to invest money in colleges and hospitals so that people who are not privileged can benefit - much to the chagrin of a sophisticated goon, Adisheshan, who threatens him, and asks him not to tread on his territory. Disregarding this and hoping to get his projects going, Sivaji runs into bureaucratic corruption and red-tape - so much so that he gives in and bribes an official Rs.4 Crores to complete his Rs.200 Crore project. An enraged Adisheshan has the local politician stop the work, but Sivaji bribes the latter Rs.50 Crores, after liquefying most of his assets. While he is busy wooing and attempting to marry Tamizhselvi/Vidyabharti Ramlingam, a new politician takes over, stops his project, and demands another Rs.50 Crores. Unable to come up with the money, Sivaji takes the matter to Court but loses, and is rendered penniless. To make matters even worse, Tamizhselvi refuses to marry him as astrologically they are not compatible. Krishna Lanka is an island in Godavari districts. The only way of commuting to that island is by boats. Lots of people die due to bad whether conditions while they travel. Krishna Lanka's President Bullebbai wants to have a bridge to that island which costs several crores. He asks his IAS friend Venkata Ratnam to make his dream come true. Even 20 years after Venkata Ratnam leaving the village, there is no news about the bridge. Bullebbai sends his son Chandu to Hyderabad to meet Venkata Ratnam and know the progress. After coming to Hyderabad, Chandu realizes that Venkata Ratnam is very money-minded and is least bothered about bridge. The rest of the story is all about how Chandu makes Venkata Ratnam get the bridge approved by the government. —Anonymous

A young man risks his life to guarantee his twin sister's happiness and protect her from her murderous in-laws. Arjun is a young man who will always defend his family, even at the risk of his own life. However, Uday's parents plan to marry him to an heiress. Nevertheless, Arjun vows to arrange the marriage for his sister and her beloved. Soon however, Arjun isn't just fighting for his twin's happiness, but for her life! The film is about a common man who decides to abolish corruption altogether in the society at various levels. Fifteen Tahsildars are found missing, and the police find that fourteen of them have been released after three days, but one of them has been killed. They find some files and a tape along with the body of the dead Tahsildar. These files carry details of why the kidnapping of the Tahsildars had been done and the reason for the murder of one of them, and have the words A.C.F. written on it. It is understood by the police that these men were the Tahsildars who had indulged themselves in bribery and that they were the top 15 of the list of the corrupt Tahsildars. The A.C.F. sends the tape, with the message that they shall continue the kidnap of the corrupt officers in all the departments and that the No. 1 corrupt shall be sentenced to death according to the law of the Anti Corruption Force. The A.C.F. similarly kidnaps officials from PWD and police department and kills the top corrupt official. There is fear among the corrupt officials. They come forward to file their returns. For a while there are no illegal transactions done, but the corruption soon continues in the society due to the threatening of the local mob to sign illegal documents and accept bribes. Meanwhile, the A.C.F. finds that it is Badrinarayana who is the real reason behind this corruption scenario. Then the kidnapping continues. The case is investigated by group of several old-aged senior level officials who are very slow-moving in their progress. However, Suryam, an IPS-passed guy who is working as a constable (as unable to pay the bribe to get the officer-level job), takes up the case in order to get promotion in the department and moves ahead of those officials in a short time, taking a medical leave. He investigates the case starting with finding of the non-corrupt official in every government office, assuming that official would have collected the information of other corrupt officers and passed it to A.C.F.. He tries to figure out what is the common thing which unites them under one roof. He gradually finds out that they are alumni of National College and working for the A.C.F. under their professor and the leader of the A.C.F., Professor Tagore. Tagore is a simple man who leads a simple life during the daytime along with his adopted kids from different cultures (one is a Muslim, one is an American, and two of the kids are Hindu, etc.). He looks like a timid character, but brave in terms of his actions and he loved by all his peers. Tagore once takes one of his kids to the hospital for treating an injury and finds that the hospital is a place full of corruption who play with the lives of people for the sake of money. Tagore decides to expose the truth and catches them red-handed by faking a dead body as a patient. The hospital, unaware of his plans, continue their treatment even though they know that the person is dead and demand thousands of money for treatment. Tagore produces the documents and receipts related to their fake treatment and gets the hospital sealed by the government. The hospital dean is arrested, but he commits suicide. Badrinarayana, the dean's father, is enraged by this and attempts to take revenge on Tagore. He finds Tagore in the CCTV camera and is shocked as according to him he was dead several years ago. Tagore is a happy professor who lives with his wife Nandini, who is expecting a second child and son. On a Deepavali day, when the whole apartment is celebrating the festival, the entire building collapses due to some fault in the construction of a nearby highway, and many of the residents (including Tagore's uncle, Nandini and Tagore's son) lose their lives. Tagore rushes to the government officials, and he learns that all this was due to Badrinarayana, the owner of a construction company and builder of that highway. Tagore finds that the highway was constructed on loose soil by which the contractions caused to collapse was very well known to him. Badrinarayana and his men thrash Tagore, but Tagore escapes from them. The incidents that he faced at the office and seeing corrupt puppets in the hands of Badrinarayana, he becomes frustrated and he forms the A.C.F. (Anti Corruption Force) to fight against corruption. He also kidnaps Badrinarayana and keeps him under his custody. The constable finally finds out the people working for A.C.F. are the ex-students, and the police force captures all of them. Police men torture them to open the identity of their leader; however, they refuse to do so. Tagore, on seeing his students suffer after Badrinarayana escapes from their custody and kills them, surrenders to the Police and requests the Police to release his students. The rising support for Tagore makes the Chief Minister to meet him for higher appeal. Tagore refuses to appeal as he wants to stress the concept in the minds of everyone that if we make mistakes, we will be punished, and he himself doesn't want to violate it as he did a crime of killing four people. Tagore gives a speech in the court explaining what a student power the country has, but corruption is what is letting it down, also revealing that how he killed Badrinarayana and his brother at the gallows section in the jail. In the end, Tagore is given a normal punishment of five years and is to be released by then.
