Arjun Mehra (Sunny Deol), known throughout the legal community as "Ikka" for his unmatched courtroom record, has built his reputation as a defense lawyer who takes only cases involving people he believes are innocent. Politician Harshvardhan Gaur (Shishir Sharma) approaches him to defend his son, Shauryaman Gaur (Akshaye Khanna), a wealthy playboy accused of attempting to murder Soma Mittal (Akansha Ranjan Kapoor). Arjun agrees to meet the family only to reject the case in person, since he knows Shauryaman from their past and believes he is guilty. Harshvardhan, who needs to contain the scandal before his reelection campaign, tries to persuade Arjun to reconsider, but Arjun refuses. After leaving the meeting, Arjun learns that his daughter, Samaira Mehra (Daria Bedi), has been hospitalized after suffering a nosebleed during a school swim meet. Doctors reveal that Samaira has advanced-stage leukemia and requires a stem cell transplant within weeks. Neither Arjun nor his wife, Avantika Mehra (Dia Mirza), are compatible donors. Arjun then reveals that he is not Samaira's biological father and approaches Shauryaman, who is. He offers to defend Shauryaman in exchange for a stem cell donation that could save Samaira's life. As the trial begins, Soma remains in a coma after suffering a severe jugular wound. Prosecutor Madhura Banerjee (Tillotama Shome) presents the case against Shauryaman, while Arjun begins his defense. Shauryaman testifies that he went to a club on the night of the incident to relax, where he met Soma. He claims they left together for dinner, and after returning to his car, he attempted to kiss her. According to Shauryaman, Soma rejected him by attacking him, leaving the vehicle, and running away. He says he wanted to apologize but eventually drove home, believing Soma was assaulted after they separated. His wife, Gauri Gaur (Sanjeeda Sheikh), supports his time-line in her statement to police, but Arjun's defense has no independent alibi. Madhura challenges Shauryaman's version of events by calling tea vendor Vijay Kamte (Francis Augustine) as a witness. Vijay states that Soma did not leave the car voluntarily, saying the driver pushed her out, drove away, and left her bleeding at the scene. When Arjun questions Vijay, however, Vijay admits that he cannot identify Shauryaman as the driver. Arjun then creates further doubt by calling Soma's former boyfriend, Abhimanyu (Gurinder Singh Pawar), revealing threatening messages sent during their breakup. The following day, Madhura presents forensic evidence linking Shauryaman to the crime. A specialist testifies that the weapon used in the attack was Shauryaman's car key. Although the vehicle had been professionally cleaned with strong chemicals after the incident, blood was discovered inside the ignition, and the sample matched Soma's DNA. Arjun requests a recess and confronts Shauryaman, who continues to deny murder but admits there was a physical confrontation. Shauryaman threatens to replace Arjun as his lawyer if he cannot counter the prosecution's evidence, which would end their agreement regarding Samaira's transplant. He also reminds Arjun that decades earlier, Arjun's actions led to Shauryaman losing his legal career and his pregnant girlfriend, who is now Arjun's wife, at the same time. Arjun returns to court with a new forensic expert who challenges the DNA evidence. The expert explains that the sample recovered from the ignition was too small and degraded, forcing the original examiner to use a testing method not approved by the court. During the trial, Soma dies from her injuries, changing the case from attempted murder to murder. Soma's mother, Mrs. Mittal (Jyoti Mukerji), tells Madhura that she has lost faith that justice will be achieved. Meanwhile, Samaira's condition worsens, and she is hospitalized again. Madhura's team continues investigating and discovers a new witness, Sudhakar Pillai (Abhinav Grover), who lives in a hostel near the crime scene. Sudhakar testifies that he saw Shauryaman purchase a phone from an unhoused man and make a call around 1:10 a.m. His testimony challenges Shauryaman's time-line by placing him near the crime scene rather than at home. Seeking another explanation, Arjun questions Gauri again. She reveals that Shauryaman had physically abused her and that she called police twice on the night of the murder. The first call, made around 1 a.m., contains a recording of a man screaming in the background as Gauri asks for help. About 45 minutes later, she called again and told police to ignore the previous request. Arjun presents the recorded emergency calls in court, arguing that they prove Shauryaman was at home during the murder. The judge accepts the evidence and clears Shauryaman of all charges. Although Madhura and Mrs. Mittal criticize Arjun for defending a man they believe committed murder, Arjun focuses on saving Samaira. Shauryaman provides the promised stem cell donation and later invites Arjun to a club to celebrate the outcome of the trial. At the club, Arjun reveals that he discovered another detail hidden within the police recordings. While reviewing Gauri's emergency calls, he noticed that the voice threatening her did not belong to Shauryaman but to the Gaurs' assistant, Chatur (Devendra Mishra). Arjun's team traces Chatur's phone and discovers that he attempted to leave the city after pretending to be Shauryaman during the emergency calls. They determine that Chatur acted under Shauryaman's instructions and that he attacked the unhoused man who sold Shauryaman the phone. Police locate Chatur in another part of the city and arrest him. They also find the unhoused man in a hospital, where he identifies Chatur as his attacker and confirms the time-line provided by Sudhakar. With this evidence, Arjun, Madhura, and the police reopen the case, and Shauryaman is arrested again, now facing additional charges. He is taken away from the club in handcuffs. After receiving Shauryaman's stem cell donation, Samaira recovers. Arjun, Avantika, and Samaira are able to continue their lives together as a family.

Baba blesses the couple but says that the resultant child will have to face severe storms in his life and could even die due to the intense storm of love. At the same time came Tulla (Pran) with his wife (Tanuja) from India, begging for their own bundle of love. Baba issues the same warning to Tulla and blesses the couple with a daughter. 20 years later, the boy and the girl have grown up. Tulla daughter is a pottery artist and sends a beautiful water jug to the Baba, via trader named Hasim, as a gift. The Baba asks Hashim to take the jug to Bukhara and give water to the first thirsty person he sees. Back in Bukhara the boy is a tribal prince named Izzat. Izzat wins the tribal sport of Buzkashi, against all the other warriors of the tribe. Hashim reaches Bukhara and gives the jug to Izzat who declares that he is thirsty. Drinking the water, Izzat has visions of a beautiful woman and now wants to go to India to meet her. Ismail knows that this is the test that Baba had foreseen for Izzat. But Ismail allows Izzat to go, as this is destiny and has to be faced. Shahzada Izzat Beg (Sunny Deol) comes to India with his caravan from Bukhara Uzbekistan and settles in a town called Gujra in Punjab. Salamat (Rakesh Bedi) is Izzat's friend, whom he had freed from slavery during the trip, by paying Salamat's master 1000 Dinars. On the way Izzat also fights the bandit leader Zarina (Zeenat Aman), when her gang attacks the caravan, for feeding water to their enemy. Zarina befriends Izzat when he declares that he will not fight a woman. The enemy Izzat saved was named Jabru, who says that he knows why Zarina became an outlaw. In Punjab, Izzat falls in love with Sohni (Poonam Dhillon), who keeps a shop of earthen pots with her father Tulla. Izzat Beg buys a pot from her with whatever money he had, and they are attracted to each other. Salamat also falls in love with a girl named Salamati, who is Noor's (Gulshan Grover) sister. Turns out Sohni was already engaged to Jabru, the man whom Izzat saved on the way to the town. Jabru's sister Malkani only knew that he had been abducted by bandit Zara, and didn't know that Jabru had been saved by Izzat. Malkani breaks the engagement with Tulla. Izzat requests Tulla to teach him the art of pottery, and since Izzat had bought Tulla's entire inventory, he was happy to oblige. Meanwhile Jabru returns to Malkani and reveals that Zara is actually Zarina. It seems that Zarina killed her husband due to Malkani and turned into a bandit. Jabru insists that he will only marry Sohni, but Malkani refuses to set foot in Tulla's house again. Malkani summons Tulla to her house. Malkani says that Sohni will not get a better groom than Jabru, but Tulla refuses to consider the match after being insulted by Malkani. In response, Malkani stops the supply of earthen clay to all potters in town. Only her land supplies the earthen clay. Izzat uses every opportunity to get close to Sohni, and even kisses her. While Noor is in love with Sohni and resents her relationship with Izzat. Noor approaches Sohni's mother and asks for her hand in marriage as he argues that the news of her engagement breaking will bring much disrespect to the family. Noor also says that he is from the same tribe as Sohni, and hence has the right to propose marriage. But Tulla hates Noor, as Noor was his student who opened his own pottery shop, and now wants to use Sohni's misfortune, to get his hands on Sohni herself. Noor accuses Tulla of selling his daughter to the rich Izzat. Tulla finds Sohni romancing Izzat and confronts her. Tulla says that it is a matter of honor for him and asks Sohni to stay away from Izzat. Noor complains to Zarina that a foreigner entered the village and bought his love with the might of money. Zarina has the foreigner abducted, only to find that it is Izzat. Noor challenges Izzat to a duel and is easily defeated. Izzat tells Zarina that Sohni loves him, but spares Noor's life as he knows that Noor also loves Sohni and that is not a crime. Zarina tells her own story to Izzat. She says that she loves a poor man named Rashid. She eloped with him, after her family refused to accept their love. But once she eloped, she found that Rashid was already in love with Malkani. Zarina stabs Rashid to death and turns into an outlaw. The potters beg Malkani to restart the supply for earthen clay. Malkani wants Tulla to marry Sohni to Jabru as her condition to restart the supply of clay. The potters try to convince Tulla, but he asks for more time to make a decision. Meanwhile, Sohni and Izzat continue to meet, which is seen by Noor. Izzat was staying in the village in the disguise of a cow herder. He had bribed the original cow herder named Mahiwal to give his clothes to him, and the original to leave the village. Noor knew this, and he poisons the buffaloes, while Izzat was romancing Sohni. The villagers find Izzat in the disguise of the cow herder and beat him up. The village Panchayat decide that Izzat poisoned the cattle to take revenge on the village when they refused to marry Sohni to him. He is sentenced to death by hunger. The Panchayat also decides that Sohni will be married to Jabru to resolve the issue with Malkani. After several days, with Izzat nearing death, Sohni agrees to marry Jabru to save Izzat's life. But now, Jabru finds Izzat on the streets with Salamat, and brings him home for treatment. When Izzat recovers, he realizes that Jabru is the guy engaged to Sohni now. Since Jabru is his friend, Izzat decides not to reveal the truth to Jabru. But Noor realizes the issue and reveals everything to Malkani. Noor says that this is Izzat's ploy since after the wedding both Izzat and Sohni will be living under Malkani's roof. Noor then goes to Zarina and says that Izzat's Sohni is being married forcefully to Jabru. On the day of the wedding, Noor attacks Izzat when he is alone and abducts him with his goons. Noor reveals to Izzat that he was the one who poisoned the cattle. He also says that Zarina will kill Malkani and Jabru at Tulla's house and this way Sohni will end up with Noor. Izzat defeats Noor and rushes back to the village to the wedding with Salamat. Due to a storm, their horse falls down, injuring Izzat. Zarina confronts Malkani at the wedding and says that the wedding is happening without the bride's consent. Jabru is shocked to find that Sohni loved Izzat, his best friend, and was only engaged to him so that the villagers could get clay from Malkani's land. Jabru divorces Sohni. Salamat reaches the wedding and reveals how Malkani sent Noor to kill Izzat. Sohni rushes to Izzat who is lying injured by the river. Sohni and Izzat enter the stormy river from opposite ends and meet in the middle and drown together in embrace.
