The film will tell the story of a historical reference to the Maratha Empire`s creation following several conflicts which occurred 350 years ago.

An 83-year-old man, Tatya, an ardent devotee of Saint Tukaram firmly believes the age-old folklore, which says that the saint boarded the Pushpak Vimaan and set off to heaven, to be true. He also harbors the dream of flying in Tukaram's mystical vehicle. The movie, with a touch of humor, showcases the emotions shared between a grandfather and a grandson.

The film addresses issues related to the younger generation in politics, and argues that one need not have a problem with dynastic politics, if the heirs are worthy and manage to prove their eligibility.

Kiran Kulkarni (Kranti Redkar) is a con artist and an identity thief. One fateful day, she happens to steal the identity of Kiran Kulkarni (Subodh Bhave) and everything goes haywire.

He challenges the existence of god and orders the locality to shut the temple within the premises. But in a twist of fate, god himself descends and questions the atheist. Will Raghav finally believe in god?

This romantic drama follows the the love story between a handsome musician and a beautiful young Lavani dancer, whose relationship gets caught up in family, caste, class and cultural conflicts.

The movie takes the audience on a tour of 11 Hanuman temples, formed by Shri Ramdas Swami. Siddharth Jadhav is the son of a Sarpanch and great devotee of Lord Hanuman. The story revolves around how he performs various good deeds and helps the society while doing time pass.

Rudra Pratap Sharma comes from an aspiring Hindu 'Bramhin' family consisting of his dad, Dayashankar, a bank manager by profession, his mom Sharda and a much younger sister Gaithri. The family resides in Banaras, India; Rudra cannot stand injustice in any form and revolts by publicly beating some college-bullies. This forces him and his family to re-locate to the city of Bombay where Rudra continues to deal with wrong-doers by turning them over to the law. Then one day his life changes when he is arrested by the police for not only dealing in arms and ammunitions but for the cold-blooded murder of the Commissioner of Police Yeshwant Sinha. Gangaajal is a story of an honest cop who is transferred to a small town that is infected with corruption and is literally owned by a mobster duo of father and son. The cop finds it tough to curb the corruption as the police officers too are as corrupt as the criminals. How he puts and end to the problem is the crux of the movie.

Surjit`s (Anil Dhawan) sister is in love with Thakur`s brother, Manjit Singh. He goes to Thakur to seek permission for the marriage. Thakur humiliates him and then asks him to go and start the wedding preparations. Next day, Thakur visits Surjit and kills him and his wife. Surjit`s last wish is to get his sons, Aju (Ajay Devgan) and Kishan (Arshad Warsi), married to Thakur and his brother`s daughters Meena (Shabana Raza) and Preeti (Mayuri Kango). The rest is how the brothers fulfill their father`s last wish.

Professor Vijay Tripathi and Bhujbal Choudhury have a small land dispute between themselves forcing Bhujbal and his men to mercilessly kill Vijay making his death look as though lightning struck him. In the process Vijay's pregnant wife, Anju runs for safety only to take aid in a temple belonging to Bhagwan Bajrangbali where-by she gives birth to a baby boy who is blessed with magical powers belonging to Bhagwan Bajrangbali. She then hand over this baby to the temple Poojary, instructs him to take the baby to Thakur Raghuveer Singh and passes away. A childless Thakur wholeheartedly agrees to adopt this child naming him Mahavir alias Pawan meanwhile the Thakur's accountant Balakram has plans for him to adopt his new born baby boy and is angered at the arrival of Mahavir to the extent of attempting to kill him albeit in vain. Never the less Thakur agrees to adopt the child of Balakram naming him Balbir. Years passed by with both Balbir and Mahair growing up and started to attend the same college where by Balbir fall in love with Seema Choudhury the daughter of Bhujbal's younger brother, Chhote while Seema's friend Asha Rana falls for Mahavir but he is not interested since he assumes the identity of a celibate thereby a devotee of Bhagwan Bajrangbali, a monk. A series of horrific nightmares upturn the life of Mahavir whereby he gets to find out how his father were murdered by Bhujbal; he then demand revenge by killing Bhujbal. —gavin (racktoo@hotmail.com) Professor Vijay Tripathi is brutally killed at the hands of Bhujbal Choudhary and his men, and they make his death look like he was struck by lightning. After witnessing this murder, Vijay's pregnant wife, Anju, runs for her life and takes shelter in a mandir. There she gives birth to a baby boy, and entrusts him to the mandir's poojary alongwith instructions what to do with the child, and dies. The Poojary takes the child to the house of Thakur Raghuveer Singh, who is childless, and agrees to adopt this child. This child is specially blessed by Bhagwan Bajrangbali and possesses special powers. They name the child Mahavir. Unknown to Raghuveer, his employee, Balakram and his wife, have also a baby boy born to them. Balakram is upset at Mahavir's arrival, and plans to kill him, in vain. Raghuveer also agrees to adopt Balakram's son, and names him Balbir. Both grow up as brothers and also attend college together. While there, Balbir meets with Seema and falls in love with her. Seema's friend, Asha, is attracted to Mahavir, but Mahavir has taken a vow of celibacy, and will not any woman come near him. Asha must use all of her seductive powers to make Mahavir change his mind. A struggling police officer's life changes when he mysteriously receives promotions and success at work. After his son's kidnapping, he discovers his doppelganger may be behind everything. Gopinath lives a struggling life with his son, Tinku, wife, Chanda and mother. He works in the police force and is a long-time employee but has never received an award or granted promotion since he does not discharged his duty properly. Everyday he prays to Lord Hanuman to grant him his wish and one day when he visits the police station he finds that he has been promoted and is to be given higher wages, he decides to visit the temple and thank Lord Hanuman. From here on Gopinath finds that all his encounter is being conducted successfully with him doing nothing but gets promoted and his salary is rising up more and more. When Tinku is kidnapped by a gangster, Sawant. Gopinath must now go to negotiate the release of his son and here is where he will comes to know that he has a look-alike, Kishen, who may be responsible for getting him promoted and conducting his encounters. One day her pranks get her in trouble with the law, and she is arrested and held in custody by Inspector Gopinath (Sunil Shetty). Enraged by the arrogance of Gopinath in arresting his daughter, her dad storms in to the Police Station and get's his daughter released. Barkha admires Gopinath's guts and his sense of duty and falls in love with him. Eventually Gopinath also falls in love with her. Unknown to Gopinath, he has a twin brother, Kishan (also Sunil Shetty), who is married to Chanda (Shilpa Shirodkar), and has a son, Tinku (Master Imran). Kishan and Chanda are naive, but honest. Kishan is often mistaken for Gopinath and very often impersonates him. Gopinath's duties take him to question Choudhury (Suresh Oberoi), who he knows is his biological father. His mom, Geeta (Aruna Irani) also knows of this, but prefer to keep this secret to themselves. Choudhury and his henchmen, including Sawant (Mohan Joshi), are irritated by Gopinath's interference in their criminal activities, and abduct Tinku, thinking that they have kidnapped Gopinath's son.
