Years passed by with both Balbir and Mahair growing up and started to attend the same college where by Balbir fall in love with Seema Choudhury the daughter of Bhujbal's younger brother, Chhote while Seema's friend Asha Rana falls for Mahavir but he is not interested since he assumes the identity of a celibate thereby a devotee of Bhagwan Bajrangbali, a monk. After witnessing this murder, Vijay's pregnant wife, Anju, runs for her life and takes shelter in a mandir. There she gives birth to a baby boy, and entrusts him to the mandir's poojary alongwith instructions what to do with the child, and dies. The Poojary takes the child to the house of Thakur Raghuveer Singh, who is childless, and agrees to adopt this child. This child is specially blessed by Bhagwan Bajrangbali and possesses special powers. They name the child Mahavir. Unknown to Raghuveer, his employee, Balakram and his wife, have also a baby boy born to them. Balakram is upset at Mahavir's arrival, and plans to kill him, in vain. Raghuveer also agrees to adopt Balakram's son, and names him Balbir. Both grow up as brothers and also attend college together. While there, Balbir meets with Seema and falls in love with her. Seema's friend, Asha, is attracted to Mahavir, but Mahavir has taken a vow of celibacy, and will not any woman come near him. Asha must use all of her seductive powers to make Mahavir change his mind. From here on Gopinath finds that all his encounter is being conducted successfully with him doing nothing but gets promoted and his salary is rising up more and more. When Tinku is kidnapped by a gangster, Sawant. Gopinath must now go to negotiate the release of his son and here is where he will comes to know that he has a look-alike, Kishen, who may be responsible for getting him promoted and conducting his encounters. Kishan is often mistaken for Gopinath and very often impersonates him. Gopinath's duties take him to question Choudhury (Suresh Oberoi), who he knows is his biological father. His mom, Geeta (Aruna Irani) also knows of this, but prefer to keep this secret to themselves. Choudhury and his henchmen, including Sawant (Mohan Joshi), are irritated by Gopinath's interference in their criminal activities, and abduct Tinku, thinking that they have kidnapped Gopinath's son.
