Brave Indian policeman Raj beats up, then arrests Muslim terrorist Khan. This gets him promoted, and he is congratulated by none other than his father-in-law, who is also a very high ranking policeman. Suddenly, Raj finds out that many policemen would like to see Khan go free. He consults his father-in-law and surprisedly finds no support from him. Disagreements and arguments ensue, and his father-in-law gets killed as a result. He single-handedly nabs notorious terrorist Wasim Khan. Later he learns that some of his associates in police force are trying to get Wasim Khan out of prison. Under these circumstances, Rajshekhar decides to create situations that will force forward the people who are hand-in-glove with Wasim, including multi-millionaire Shanker Singhania and his very own father-in-law, also the DGP Suryapratap Singh. While he receives natural praise and accolades, some within his own police force don't support or applaud this victory. One such person is Director General of Police Suryapratap Singh, who has a secret meeting with Rajshekhar, and asks him to go on sick leave, so that the Government of India can arrange Wasim's release. The fact that Suryapratap is also Rajshekhar's father-in-law adds more pressure on him to submit to his superior or make matters worse by disobeying him and creating a rift in his personal life.
